Must insert my camera with lens cap up due to the size of the camera, but it is a bit large. Well constructed bag with small zippered pouch on front for spare battery. Main compartment clips and even zips (optionally) if you are worried about the elements. I would not submerge it, but should keep things dry in a light rain.

I have a larger bag that I use to the carry my still camera and the video but for this trip I was only taking the video camera. It is perfect. It has 2 side mesh pockets and little zippered from pocket and a nice long strap. It also zips closed and clips. It has a little piece of material inside that will help hold your camera in. It is a small bag so don't expect a lot of storage but for my needs it did the job well.
