It's the one thing that you can do to take care of that expensive awesome camera, it keeps the dust off of it. Its fragile and dust is damaging. Another is temperature, too hot or too cold, this case insulates and of course dropping. Pockets for an extra battery or manual, etc. Sony thought of everything. It zips shut. Keep it zipped in case you drop it. Adjustable strap. It's a very very nice case. Buy one. That camera is an investment. It's your future. Family and fun photos. Memories. Take care of it.

If you have the camera it’s for I would assume it would be an easy fit, I did not and it wasn’t smaller than either of the sections so I just moved the median and it worked fine.
