Internal malfunction

But one of the ear pieces quit charging after a little over a month so i could not return. I would have been happy to just replace with the same item. So i give 3 stars.

Great Sound and Noise Cancellation!

They did really good with these. Sound quality is also pretty good. I would definitely recommend these if you’re looking for an alternative to the apple airpods!

Solid earbuds at a reasonable price

The only thing i wish these had was a wireless charging case. The earbuds themselves spund great and use the same Sony app as their more expensive counterparts. I bought these over the XM4s since the multipoint update had not been released for those yet.

It's a lot more reliable, but also a lot less distinctive. This is a solid pair of noise-canceling earbuds, but it also doesn't handle the particular use cases of the original LinkBuds.

Great Noise Cancelling Ear Buds!

Not only did they sound great and fit comfortably, the noise cancelling feature was excellent and made the long flight much more enjoyable. The charge lasted about four hours and twenty minutes after they were fully charged at the beginning of the flight. The case they store in also has the ability to store extra charging power. Plug them in the case and they will recharge without being connected to a power source. I would recommend these highly over a more expensive model.

Never going back to AirPods.

There’s tones of customization options as well and the sound quality is amazing as well. You have a customizable eq and can make your music sound the way you like. They are super comfortable as well. I’m a mechanic and I wear them all day at work and don’t ever get uncomfortable.

Great buds

Easier to get into your ears than the xm5 earbuds due to them not being foam filled. Used them several times on a plane and they did wonders for the noise level. Transparency mode does have a bit of fuzz in the background but that is common on these style of buds. Lack the depth of sound on the high and low end that you’d expect with earbuds. For that, you’d want headphones.

The iPhone app is pretty good. On the left earbud you tap once to turn on audience mode and tap again for quiet mode. The right one is pause and play. Good quality sound and for me really works great in the gym. Won’t fall off either!

When using only one unit of the headset, you can remove one unit of the headset from the charging case and use the unit by itself. In this case, only the unit that has been removed from the charging case will turn on. Hint: In the factory settings, the music playback function is assigned to the right unit. When listening to music with one ear, if only the right unit is worn in your ear, use the touch sensor on the right unit to play music. When only the left unit is worn in your ear, operate the connected device to play music. I have purchased a dozen or so different types and these are comfortable, and the sound is great, but the ANC is incredible. Could not recommend these more. The app adds functionality like equalizer control as well. They are lightweight and compact. Very comfortable compared to sooo many others. The pairing process to new things can be a hassle if you aren't familiar but learn it, and you're good to go.

Amazing for the price

I’ve tried the Bose QC2, AirPod Pro 2, and a few others - for the price, these beat out all the big guys. Great ANC, good ambient sound, and great bass without blowing your eardrums out. Overall, I’d choose these over the big name brand earbuds any day.

ANC is ok but obviously Somys flagship buds are a better choice if thats a priority to you. I my opinion they are the best earbuds in their price range and beat out some above their price range as well.

The battery life is the main reason I chose this product. My only downside is the noise cancellation on them. They tend to go between being active and then not when it comes to the noise cancellation and it becomes bothersome.

They fit my ears better and they dont stick out as much as. The texture of the case and the buds themselves is good. Keeps all the oil off which is great for keeping them clean and for long term wear and tear. Battery life is great, can go through an entire shift without them dying on me

I think the noise cancelling is comparable between the two. I basically could tell no difference. The XM5s sound better, but I think the LinkBuds S give you 90% of the sound quality that the XM5s provide. The LinkBuds S also have a better fit. If you have to have the very best, get the XM5s. However, at the current price of $130, the LinkBuds S are an absolute steal. They easily provide 90% of the XM5 capabilities at half the price.
