Plus you left Bud depends on right bud in order to work, you can't use the left one by itself

Best ear buds in a long time

I have loved everything about them. The noise cancellation is phenomenal. Fit is OK but then again I have weird ears I guess.

Noise cancelling definitely works well because she can't hear anything else around her when she has them in and listening to music. She said the sound quality is awesome.

Great little earbuds

I have some Soundcore Liberty 4 earbuds but I much rather prefer these as I feel I get a bit more detail in the sound and the bass is just superb.

Sony Link Buds S

Much more comfortable in my ear and the noise cancelling is just the right amount where I can hear when I need to buy makes my listening experience much smoother and can listen at a way more reasonable volume.

A solid pair of buds

Thanks for sharing your review and experience with the LinkBuds S. Your feedback about its fit is greatly appreciated. For optimum fit and comfort, make sure that you are wearing the headphones properly:
1. Put the headset units into both ears. Put the headset unit with the (left) mark into your left ear and the headset unit with the (right) mark into your right ear. The left unit has a tactile dot.
2. Adjust the fit of the headset to your ears. Twist the headset unit to slide the earbud tip deep into your ear canal.

Sony has a great product for a fair price with these earbuds. They are not quite as good sounding as the WF-1000XM4s but these also are much lighter and I don't even notice them. The noise canceling is not the best but top notch. If you haven't tried Sony earbuds, give these a try.

The app and connectivity seems finicky and sometimes one earbud would not connect.

If you feel the size of the earbud tips does not fit or might fall out from your ears, change the earbud tips. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different.
Please make sure that the firmware version of the app is up to date.

Early battery life degradation

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.*When it works* this is a very good product -- good sound, good ANC, relatively easy to use. What is disqualifying is how fast the battery life deteriorated in the right earbud (after a little more than a year of not heavy use) -- down to an erratic 15-30 minutes before exhaustion. Of course, >12 mos. is beyond warranty coverage, and all that Sony will do is throw a litany of reset steps at you before referring you to their hand-selected repair service. What's frustrating is that this seems to be a long-existing problem for which Sony has no effective fix. I'd buy another pair if I could be confident that the battery life issue wouldn't repeat itself, but I have no such trust. Also don't believe that repair could possibly be cost-effective over replacement. Bottom line, it's a good product *if* you can keep it working for more than a few mins at a stretch. Currently shopping for other brands to replace.
