I replaced them under warranty less than a year after my purchase. The second pair worked well until the year mark and the left airbud did the same thing as the first pair. I had to switch to another brand that didn't malfunction after a year, especially for the amount I paid for them. Pro: As someone with small ears, these fit my ears perfectly.

Sony needs to really really allow people the control to custom program the touch controls. Cheaper buds like galaxy buds can do this. Stuck with their pre programmed weirdness. 3. Why no wireless charging , Sony? This costs 200 bucks. Pros: Everything else.

It does the job well

Though I think their noise awareness feature needs a little more work. I still can’t quite make out what people are saying in their transparent mode. The bigger issue is that I’ve had mine for over a year now, and it seems like the left earbud drains quicker than the right—oddly quick to the point where I feel this is some sort of hardware issue. I’m chalking it to coincidence, but that may be something to keep note of in the long term.

I have really small ears and decided to try these after doing some research. Unfortunately, after a day of wearing them at my office job, my ears were so sore :( If not for that, I would have kept them. PROS: - The app has some cool features and is easy to use. - The case has a grippy texture, so it’s less likely to slip out of your hands. - The four sizes of earbud tips are color-coded, which makes it easy to pick the right one. - Comfortable for shorter periods of use. CONS: - If your ears are very small or you have conch/tragus piercings, these might make your ears tender after 5+ hours. - I had some difficulty using the touch controls. - The wireless range wasn't as good as others I had tested.

He uses them at work and while gaming regularly. Sound quality is generally pretty good from the other side of the phone. They're not too big for my smaller ears and he says that they’re comfortable. Easily connectable to multiple devices and battery in both the ear buds themselves and the case lasts a while.

They sound great and have great connectivity with my Android phone. Love the features. Only drawback is battery life as my last pair only lasted a little over 2 years and then didn't hold much of a charge, but IMO these are the best earbuds on the market for the money that work 100% with Android phones.

It's really just your music and yourself when you use noise cancelation. The earbuds are really comfortable and provide a good seel. Ambience sound doesn't sound natural but it gets the job done. The quality is really great but it's even better when you change the equalizer in the Sony headphones app. Overall really great earbuds 10/10

Compared to the brand marketing of other products like Apple, the design is not there. Nothing flashy and little brand advertising. The product is easy to set up and connected quickly to my phone. The charging case is made of an odd (almost grainy” plastic. Sound Quality: Despite lacking the “luxury” consumer feeling, the sound quality is quite good. The best way to describe them are improved AirPods (it’s a nice balance between the AirPods vs AirPods Pro. Noise Cancellation: The noise cancellation is not going to drown out every background noise, but it does a solid job. Things like computer typing, office conversations are all muted. Battery Life: I would say my average use is 3-4 hours of audio usage per day and I charge the case once every 3 days. Really no problems with the battery life. Overall: These are by no means the premium headphone for an audiophile. At this price range, I’m not sure you will find that anyways. However, for somebody who is looking for a step above the AirPods (w/ noise cancellation) these are hard to beat. -1 Star: The only issue I have had is momentary connectivity issues. Walking around with these headphones causes them to cut out a bit for some reason. Even repairing them does not seem to help. However, this is a rare occurrence.

Their sound is super clean and bass uff. But what I love the most is the system they have. Basically, they have these sensors on the buds that you can use to up or down the volumen or even stop the music. That is so heapful! They also have an amazing system that cancels the exterioir sound. To me these are the best buds in the market. Tuani earbuds! But, I had to buy another set cause someone stole my old ones. A vist I have came to my apartment and took them. Smh. I looked for them and couldn't find them. Because I had follen in love with these earbuds i had to buy them again. It is what it is. They are worthy

Software sometimes buggy, but AMAZING SOUND
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once you get all the settings right, ASTOUNDING SOUND. Software continues to be buggy at times on Android (Samsung S21). Unless Automatic Turn Off option is disabled, one headphone (mostly L, sometimes R) will turn off after 20-30 minutes on phone calls, which is quite annoying, have to take headphone out and put back in, and headphone will turn back on. This is after reset and initialization were done. Shame because the automatic off is a nice feature, assuming software issue with IR interface. Hopefully software updates soon will correct this. Wildly enough, there also is an extreme increase in sound quality when the auto off feature is disabled, at least for my Linkbuds! Couldn't believe my ears when I first disabled auto off, but toggled multiple times between enabling and disabling, and the sound opened up so much it was like the difference between $50 and $150 dollar earbuds. Again, seems to be software issues hopefully ironed out in future. Left earbud touch function may have also been affected by this, but works now after initialization and also turning off the above feature, unsure which thing caused the function to be fixed. Takes a few minutes to make sure LDAC is set on Android Smartphones (Apple cannot support LDAC high quality bluetooth transmission). Must go to bluetooth, then when device appears on bluetooth, must click settings on right of device, enable LDAC. Then under phone settings, must enable "Developer Options", then go down to bluetooth and select LDAC. Also, every time (this is a pain but not Sony's issue) you connect the headphones and want to truly listen at LDAC levels, must scroll down to "Bluetooth Audio LDAC Codec: Playback Quality" and Select "Highest Quality" (Android defaults to best effort every time you connect to headphones, which is often lower than LDAC). All that said, once everything is right, the overall sound, bass, and fidelity of these earbuds is so amazing! Bearing in mind you MUST USE LDAC; Sony has worked to maximize sound quality by implementing LDAC, so if you're not using it, these earbuds may not sound amazing, since you're not using their full functionality. And they are so light, even with the case! Amazing! Noise canceling is great, battery is okay, drains pretty fast with both noise cancelling and LDAC enabled, but hey, can't beat the sound. I love Sony and the amazing sound all of their products produce; they sometimes have had issues with earbuds recently, likely due to trying to get to market too quickly, but I will definitely be a lifelong Sony user. The sound from the product is superior.

Outstanding Quality for the price

They are cheaper than AirPods Pro but they fit better, have better noise cancellation in my experience, and they have better sound quality in my opinion. The only 2 things that can be annoying though is the app can be buggy and will often default the headphones to ambient sound instead of cancellation, and for whatever reason my left earbud will randomly disconnect for no reason until I pull both out of my ears and put them both back in again.

For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Sound Connect app).
When the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony Sound Connect” app is turned on, the wearer's actions, like walking or running, are detected. The noise canceling function is automatically adjusted and the Ambient Sound Mode may be activated according to these actions. To make the most of the noise canceling function, turn off the Adaptive Sound Control, and try to turn on the noise canceling function manually when you need it.

Thought the link buds s do not have as much raw sound quality as AirPods Pro the difference is negligible enough to let these pass. Which is mostly do to their size and design, because unlike the AirPods they are much smaller and sleek that makes them more discrete when you are wearing them. They also have some nice features like safe listen you can turn on to measure and reduce the noise levels your ears revive, which does synchronize a little with the iPhones hearing tool. They also have excellent options for sound equalization, with my favorite being the vocal option which I can modify to hear the voice of the singer clearly in songs. The only downside is that due to an issue that my left earbud drains really fast now compared to my ragout earbud. Thought that might just be some new technical problem. But other than that for the price these earplugs are a must have. Ps: they isolate sound great and even on max volume you only go up to 70 decibels and you can still hear what you are listening to dispute your surroundings.

Sidetone doesn't work as expected

I bought them primarily for Zoom/Teams meetings for work. I have a pair of on-the-ear Sony's from a few years ago that have Sidetone and I actually enjoy that feature. However, those earphones are a bit uncomfortable. The main issue have with the LinkBuds S is that the Sidetone doesn't seem to pump my voice into my ears, rather it picks up everything else around me and amplifies it. For example, I have a small air purifier beside my desk that runs on the lowest setting. To the naked ear, you can barely notice it. When I engage the mic on the LinkBuds S, it sounds like I'm in a wind tunnel. It doesn't make the meeting experience intolerable, but it defeats the purpose of being in a meeting AND having ANC enabled. Otherwise, the sound quality for music is very good. If my Anker Soundcore Liberty 2's are a 9/10, the LinkBuds S are an 8/10. I'd give these 5 stars if it weren't for Sidetone defeating it's own purpose of allowing your voice to come through and not other things around you. Again, I don't really hear my voice at all through Sidetone yet everything else around me is picked up. Not how my older headphones work.

During a call on the headphones, the headphones' microphones pick up the ambient sound regardless of the Ambient Sound Control function setting. The Sidetone function's effect makes it easier to talk using the headphones and helps the headphone microphone pick up sounds and play your voice naturally. As a result, the noise canceling function works differently from when playing music. And if you hear ambient sound, headphones operation sound, or white noise (a small electrical noise with continuous static sound) from the headphones, that is also an effect of the Sidetone function, not a malfunction.
