Super quiet noise canceling. Decent connectivity but one bud will randomly have a pause of sound occasionally.

For the first year and change, they lasted for 6 hours with normal settings when fully charged. With the noise canceling/ isolating disabled, they lasted even longer. The sound settings are manipulated by using the Sony sound connect app. After 1.5 years of use for about 20 hours a week, I noticed that the battery life declined. Currently, they only last about 3 hours. For earbuds, they haven't disappointed. They offer a decent amount of comfort and don't fall out of my ears.

It's great to hear that they have been comfortable and reliable for you. It is a known characteristic of all rechargeable batteries to gradually lose capacity over time, and a decrease in battery life after a year and a half of consistent use is normal. We're glad they are still providing a satisfying experience.

Nice piece of high tech in ear.

The only reason I gave 4 star is due to that it is not a full-time in ear comfortable piece. I used for around 6 straight hours for 3 days and after 2 hours in ear, it really feels push in the surrounding areas of the plug, Quality is great, no doubt about it. However, the NC is not fully convincing. I returned the item. Wanted to replace my WX-1000XM4 after seeing the commercials as full time wearable but, it didn't feel like one.

Better that Apple Pro - but with faults.

Compared to the Apple Pros these are way better with sound. Issues I've had with them: - The biggest complaint; I've had these for a little over a year and 1 of the earbuds has started to loose battery really quickly. Within 30 mins. Until i did a hard reset on them. Now it seems like it will get around 2 hours of battery life. Which is better but not the 6hrs advertised. I don't think they ever lasted for 6 hours or close to that time, so its kind of my fault that I didn't return or contact Sony sooner. - Issue 2; they aren't the most comfortable. They fall out of my ears all the time. Especially if using them while eating. - I'm not sure if I would buy them again. Maybe I would purchase the extended warranty.. But its aggerating to have to pay more because the quality is not reliable.

We'd love to troubleshoot the issues and make this a better experience for you. In the meantime, please try these steps to troubleshoot the battery life of the LinkBuds S.
If you set the following functions, the available operating time of the battery becomes short.
-Equalizer
-DSEE Extreme
-Noise canceling function/Ambient Sound Mode
-Speak-to-Chat
-Function to launch the voice assist function by your voice
-Service Link
-Sound quality mode during Bluetooth playback: Priority on sound quality
If you run the above settings at the same time, the available operating time of the battery becomes even shorter.
Depending on the settings for the headset functions and usage conditions, the speed of energy consumption for the rechargeable battery may vary between the left and right units. However, this is not a malfunction.
When you have finished using the headset, be sure to set the headset in the charging case. If the headset is placed in the pockets, etc., the headset recognizes that the headset is worn, and it may turn on by mistake.
Be sure to close the lid of the charging case to prevent the battery of the charging case from being consumed.
When talking on the phone, the available operating time of the battery is shorter than when playing music.

Good sound, software is okay.

Could be fixed with some software updates. Or sometimes only 1 pairs and I have to reopen the case with them in it for it to work. But other than that it works good and sounds good. Minor issues that wouldn’t stop me from buying another pair.

Better than apple
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My personal favorite ear bud I have bought them like 4 times because I drop them and they get ran over but besides that it’s a better earbud than apple has ever made even the pro 3 can’t compete on sound quality don’t get it wet also it’s not great voice clarity when YOU are speaking on the phone the other person is fine
