Thanks for sharing your review and experience with the LinkBuds S. We're glad that you like the noise canceling function of the headphones. Your feedback about the battery life and using one earbud is greatly appreciated. You can use either the left or right earbud at a time. Depending on the headset unit you are wearing, some functions may not be available in the factory settings. In this case, you can change the function assignments to the touch sensors using the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. You may find this link helpful:

For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Headphones Connect app).
