Good Value for good sound

I have longer hair so when I wear them I kind of forget their there. After like 2-3 hours they do start to get noticeable, but it's better than the base Linkbuds. Would suggest these 100%.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I could give these a 5-star review, but there are a couple of issues that prevent me from doing so. What I like about these are the excellent ANC functionality, great sound quality, and comfort. They're leaps and bounds above the JBL's they replaced in these aspects. What I dislike is the shorter Bluetooth range and battery life compared to the JBL's. Sony claims up to 6 hours with the ANC on, but the best I've gotten from a full charge is about 4 hours. Bluetooth range is about 25% less and head position makes a big difference. I'm an auto technician by trade, and sometimes find myself contorted under a dash and these will often lose connectivity, even with my phone only a few feet away, whereas the JBL's never did. For most people, these will likely be just fine, but they're a bit lacking for me.

These were well worth the purchase price. I wear mine when mowing my lawn and I can barely hear the mower when listening to music or a podcast.

Best wireless earphones

I’m able to listen to music for hours. The sound quality is absolutely amazing. I’ve had these for years now and they are better than AirPods by far.

Noise canceling is amazing compared to the Raycons I used to own. A little more that a year without any problems but now they disconnect from time to time while being used, the Bluetooth will also connect even though the buds are in the case and now the left earbud dies in under 30 minutes

At full retail I'd expect wireless charging given that it is standard amongst competitors. Do have to charge the case a bit more often then I would like, but headphones themselves have amazing battery life even with ANC on. ANC is good, blocks most noise. Do note I mostly use these in an office environment or at home and almost never use them elsewhere. Ambient sound is pretty good when you're not having a conversation, but when you do it's an odd experience. Listening to music is a great experience, if you are listening to something that is not bass heavy. On sale they are a good value. At full retail, consider them, admire them, and hope they go on sale so you don't purchase them at full price. 4 Stars because I got them on sale, otherwise they are a solid 3. 3 because they are better then most, but most others (at the same price point) offer rival sound and are more feature rich.

I wear them when I fly and I can't believe how much noise they block out. The sound quality is great, the battery life is great, and they generally stay in my ears pretty well, which has been a challenge for me with other headphones.

Fantastic Earbuds

The sound quality on these headphones is truly amazing. There's a depth to the music that my other pairs of headphones can't deliver. They have taken listening to music to another level. The noise cancelling on the Linkbuds S is also fantastic. The earbuds themselves are very light, which means that I barely feel them when they're in my ears. The case itself is also pretty small. One note I want to make about sizing: I typically wear medium or large tips with my earbuds (e.g., JBL Reflect Aero). With the Linkbuds S I need to wear the large tips--if I don't the noise cancelling doesn't work very well (due to poor sound isolation). I mention this in part to give guidance on sizing for others. I also mention it because some people wonder about the size difference between the LinkBuds S and the Sony WF-1000XM4 (with many people saying the XM4's are much larger inside the ear).

Battery life cut in half 1 year in

Less than a year in, my right earbud battery last half the time of the left earbud & since the left bud does not work without the right bud they are useless to me.

Sound Quality is Garbled!!

I will have to say JVC was one of the best and Sony needs to work on their sound quality. These Bluetooth are very comfortable, but the sound quality is very garble.

Nice Sony Earbuds but.....

They fit well and I like the noise canceling and the option to here my surroundings. The music sounds really great and I can skip to the next song if I want. However, I can't go back to repeat a song and must importantly I can't control the volume. I thought if I swirled my finger around the left bud, the volume would go up or down. Instead I have to use my phone to control the volume. This would've been beneficial for me. I also can't pause it on the first try. I have to tap it more than once to pause which makes me have to pull them out my ears when someone approaches me or begins to talk.
