    Unfortunately had an issue with the sound quality on these. I usually have a great experience with sony products, including their lower end selection. But, these just never seemed to work for me

We'd love to troubleshoot the issue and make this a better experience for you. In the meantime, If the headset is not worn properly in your ears, tap operations or Speak-to-Chat speech detection may not work correctly, or you may not obtain the correct sound qualities or call performance. If the part of the headset where sound is output is not oriented correctly toward the ear canal, the sound quality may sound poor or the left and right sound localization may sound misaligned.
      If any of this is the case, check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears.

    Great sounding audio but right earbud speaker blew out after 3 months, maybe I got a shorty pair but I can only go on what I’ve received

    Known hardware/software issues

    I unfortunately had to return these earbuds. After a week or so of usage, the left earbud would give off a "wind noise". It sounded like wind would be coming into the earbud although I was inside. After doing some research on the web, it seems there are a lot of users experiencing this issue with the Linkbuds S, and there is no clear explanation to the issue (might be hardware or software) I would avoid these earbuds and look for others. I have Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II and am happy with the sound and noise cancelling

    Fit great, sound great but you can’t personalize the controls. Of you only have the left one in you can’t play/pause podcasts/music.

      While we are thrilled that you are satisfied with the comfortable fit design and exceptional sound quality of our LinkBuds S, we are sorry if you are having an issue when using only the left unit. In the factory settings, the music playback function is assigned to the right unit. When only the left unit is worn in your ear, you will need to operate the connected device to play music. There's good news, however! You can change the function assignments to the touch sensors of the left and right units using the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. For example, the music playback function that is assigned to the touch sensor of the right unit in the factory settings can be changed to the touch sensor of the left unit. You can also change the settings that do not assign the music playback function, noise canceling function, Ambient Sound Mode and playback volume adjustment function, etc. For more details, please refer to the following links:

    They are ok. Frankly my wireless Beats with the wired tether between the ear pieces worked better. I was using these ear buds today, and even tho they were connected and my bluetooth was active, no one could hear me. Im keeping them cause I dont feel like exchanging them again. My intention is to see if i can get my Beats repaired.

    These ear buds are the worst , although they have so much technology packed into them they are difficult to use . It has so many settings that you can toggle which you will spend 90% of the time doing since it adjust to your surroundings and its constantly changing your settings if you sit if you stand up and your talking to someone or singing it will cut off the music because it thinks your talking to someone, since it has a feature that says stop to talk. The worst part !!!!! About these earbuds is that they can’t be USED INDIVIDUALLY THEY MUST BOTH BE IN YOUR EAR TO WORK , they don’t connect if you take one off it won’t pair up. So say you have the main earbud that controls the link to the other one and you use up the battery for the earbud that has the connection you can’t use the other earbud that has a full battery because the other only knows your using it because of the main earbud, only one earbud has the Bluetooth antenna. And fyi don’t get them in the khaki color they look like hearing aids lol.

We greatly appreciate your feedback with the color design of the headphones. For your issues, please allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience.

      Regarding Adaptive Sound Control, this feature is designed to automatically adjust the sound settings based on your environment to provide the best audio experience. When the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app is turned on, the wearer's actions, like walking or running, are detected. The noise canceling function is automatically adjusted and the Ambient Sound Mode may be activated according to these actions. You can turn off this feature from the Sony | Headphones Connect app.

      As for the Speak-to-Chat function, the Speak-to-Chat mode activates when the headset detects the speech of the person wearing the headset, but in rare cases it may activate in response to vibrations caused by devices such as electric toothbrushes, electric massagers, and electric shavers, or by activities such as brushing your teeth, coughing, or humming. In cases where the Speak-to-Chat mode frequently activates by accident, set Speak-to-Chat to “L Sensitivity”.

      For the ability to use only one earbud at a time, if you are trying to use the left unit of the headphones, as part of normal operation, you cannot use only the left unit of the headset when Service Link is turned on from the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. However, you can use only the right unit of the headphones. And depending on the assignment of the touch sensors and/or the Voice Assistant setting, you may not be able to use only one unit of the headset. To solve this problem, please follow the troubleshooting steps on these articles:

    Right side died in less than 2 months

    They started out great but two months in the right side died. It sounds like the ocean and then some times popping noises and random screeching sounds come through. I can't take it anymore so hopefully sony will warranty it.

    First pair of Sony buds and will be my last these were terrible. Constantly disconnected the sound was barely there. I had them full blast and still could hear everything at the gym with anc on. Switched to Bose ultra quiet comfort and worth every cent more I paid

    I bought these and they just stopped charging not even a month in. I returned them and exchanged for another pair of the same and it looks like I’m having the same problem again with the charging. Will end up returning and not trying these again

      Follow these steps to troubleshoot if the LinkBuds S earbud headphones don't charge:
      Make sure the headset is set securely in the charging case.
      Be sure to use the supplied USB Type-C cable and check that the cable is firmly connected to the charging case.
      If the earbud tips are not properly attached to the headset, the headset may not be charged with the supplied charging case. Check that the earbud tips are attached properly when you store the headset in the charging case.
      If earbud tips by other manufacturers are used, the headset may not be charged with the supplied charging case. Be sure to use the supplied earbud tips when charging.
      When the charging ports of the headset or the charging case get dirty, the headset may not be charged. Clean the charging ports with a soft dry cloth.
      It is recommended to charge in a place with an ambient temperature between 15 °C and 35 °C (59 °F - 95 °F). Efficient charging may not be possible beyond this range.
      While charging, be sure to keep the lid of the charging case closed to prevent the battery of the charging case from being wasted.
      Reset the headset.
      Initialize the headset, and pair the headset and the device again.
