great open ear design

I hope they make a second generation with even more comfortable fit and better battery life

Ok ear buds

Expected better sound and only last one year before one of the earbuds started making a rattling sound with base beats like a blown out speaker. They are decent but expected more.

M-sized fitting supporters come attached to the left and right units of the headset at the time of purchase. When the headset is worn and you feel the size of the fitting supporters does not fit your ears, change the fitting supporters to another size to comfortably and snugly fit your left and right ears. Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's get the good out of the way first: Great sound quality, Bluetooth is as seamless as you can get on Android, Battery Life is solid, the build quality is superb, and the open-back design is a god-send for those who need it, while not disturbing those around you. However. If you aren't used to hard shell earbuds, prepare for a steep adjustment period. They are more comfortable than the Gen 1 wired Apple earbuds, but only if you can find the right size of rubber support for your ear, and figure out how they fit comfortably in your ear. They also require some trust that they won't fall out (if inserted properly, they absolutely will not) and adjusting them slightly can often result in your music being paused prematurely. But once you get used to them, they truly are one of a kind.

Great buds for active wearers

They dont fall out and are very comfortable to wear. Great for walking around allowing you to hear your surroundings and navigate things safely. The biggest plus for me is noting is sticking into my ear canals which would irrate the insides of my ear during long wears.

Odd, but Great!

They certainly look odd, but the sound is very good. What I like about them is that they allow you hear activity around you very well. If you are looking for noise cancellation, pass on these, but if you need earbuds that allow you to be aware of your surroundings, they are amazing!

An earache occurs
If you feel the size of the fitting supporters does not fit your ears, change the fitting supporters to another size that fits your ears better.
The size of the left and right fitting supporters may be different.
Check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears.
To wear the LinkBuds,
Check the (left) and (right) marks on the headset.
Check the position relation between the ear and the headset when you put the headset unit into your ear.
Hold the headset with your fingers.
Put the headset units into both ears.
Check if the headset is worn properly.
If you wear the headset for a long time, your ears may start hurting.
Use the headset while taking breaks periodically.
Please ensure to download the Sony Headphone Connect app. You can customize your setting to fine-tune to your music.

For the loudness/sound quality, if the headset is not worn properly in your ears, you may not obtain proper sound quality or volume. If the part of the headset where sound is output is not oriented correctly toward the ear canal, the sound quality may sound poor or the left and right sound localization may sound misaligned. Please check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears and see if it resolves the problem:

I can hear everything that is going on around me and still have a little fun on my own listening to tunes. Build quality is great. They are tiny. Fit is surprisingly comfortable. I do wish they had wireless charging.

It is everything that an in ear does as far as bass but it’s a new approach to the market and all the same feature as the flag ship Sonys accept for noise cancelling

The fit is comfy, and I sometimes forget I'm even wearing them. I don't agree with the reviews saying they aren't loud enough, 25% volume is the most I can even handle. The volume is fine for me. I love these. Better than any pair of earbuds with 'passthrough' that I've tried.

Perfect for people who wear them all day

I wear them about 6 hrs a day while working mainly for talking on the phone . They stay in my ear and I can hear everything going on around me when not in use . Hopeful they last

The fit is great even with her tiny ear holes which normally causes a problem. Sound quality is definitely there.
