Pretty good open ear buds.

They can be a little too quiet in some situations, but those are very rare. I have a pair of isolating earbuds for times like that. One thing i don't really like is that you have to have both earbuds out in order to use them, specifically they don't turn on unless the right one is out. I am deaf in my right ear so I don't have s need to wear anything in there, do that's one downer. Another is after a few hours of wearing I have to take a break as they will start making my ears sore. Overall though i am pleased with them though. The auto stop when you're talking to someone is awesome as well as the auto adjust volume.

Great fit that doesn't need to go inside your ear canal. Sound is not that loud but again, this is just for sound when you need to still near around you clearly.

Awesome for on the go

It's nice to just leave them in and still be aware of my surroundings. Super light and comfy I wear them all day. And the mic quality nis surprisingly good.

Wish they were more comfortable. Love the wide area tap. They do not fall out. Open backed. However, they are hard and flat parts push agains the convex cartilage. Still less irritation than in ear buds but not cozy. Maybe people with bigger ears won't have this problem.

The LinkBuds comes with different sizes of fitting supporter to suit different ear shapes. As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headset, try to change the fitting supporters to another size that fits your ears better. The size of the left and right fitting supporters may be different. Also, check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears.

Amazing sound

They fit great in your ear but you should check the sizes and mess around to get a great comfort

Need to be aware of my surroundings but it can be boring cleaning with no music. Perfect for when I need to start talking and they juat pause the music until it no longer detects someone talking.

Uncomfortable

The tap features and the ability to allow each earbud to perform different functions was really nice. But they were extremely uncomfortable and the sound wasnt the best either

Thanks for sharing your honest review. While we're glad that you like the open-ear design of the LinkBuds, we're sorry to learn if the volume level didn't meet your expectations. If the headset is not worn properly in your ears, you may not obtain proper sound quality or volume.
Check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears.
When the volume adjustment function is assigned to the headset with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, you can adjust the volume on the headset during music playback or while talking.
We regret to hear that the unit had to be returned. We could've walked you through and go through some troubleshooting with you to make sure your headphones are great.
We hope you will consider Sony again in a future purchase. Thank you for the feedback.

Finally a set of buds for ME

LOVE the fit. i have trouble with normal ear buds. not sure if its just how my ear canals are made but i can NEVER keep buds in my ears for more than 30 minutes without some decent pain. ..... these things i can keep in until the battery dies :) you will not get the bass you would out of normal set of buds but the sound quality is still extremely clean and crisp. the touch works perfectly. call clarity is excellent. i've even used them on Teams. they quick connect to the computer in 3 seconds. additional pairings are easy. true they are not noise cancelling but they don't let as much noise in as you would think. i often wear them out if i need to make a quick grocery run and i can't hear anyone else talking around me. love these!

While we're glad you like the open-ear design, we regret to hear if you find the LinkBuds sound quality poor and the volume becomes low. Allow us to help you and turn your experience around. If the headset is not worn properly in your ears, you may not obtain the correct sound qualities or call performance. If the part of the headset where sound is output is not oriented correctly toward the ear canal, the sound quality may sound poor or the left and right sound localization may sound misaligned. The LinkBuds may also fall out or feel uncomfortable during use if you don't wear the LinkBuds properly or the ear fitting supporters are not correct for your ears.
Make sure to update the firmware of the headphones by performing a software update (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. Doing so may resolve the issue.
