If the headset is out of your ears, you feel uncomfortable when wearing the headset or your ears hurt. If you feel the size of the fitting supporters does not fit your ears, change the fitting supporters to another size that fits your ears better. The size of the left and right fitting supporters may be different. If you wear the headset for a long time, your ears may start hurting. Use the headset while taking breaks periodically. Sony place a high value on every feedback as this helps us in improving our products' design, features, and functionality. Having said that, we'd love to help you troubleshoot your problem and turn your experience around by following the below troubleshooting suggestions.

Check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears.
To wear the LinkBuds,
Check the (left) and (right) marks on the headset.
Check the position relation between the ear and the headset when you put the headset unit into your ear.
Hold the headset with your fingers.
Put the headset units into both ears.
Check if the headset is worn properly.
The range of the Bluetooth® connection is approximately 30 feet (10 meters). However, maximum communication range will vary depending on obstacles (person, metal, wall, etc.) or electromagnetic environment. If the headset does not function as expected, try the following steps to resolve the issue.
Find the symptoms of the issue in this Help Guide, and try any corrective actions listed.
Set the headset into the charging case and close the lid of the charging case.
You may be able to resolve some issues by setting the headset into the charging case.
Charge the headset.
You may be able to resolve some issues by charging the headset battery.
Restart the device that is being connected to the headset.
You may be able to resolve some issues by restarting the device being connected such as your computer or smartphone.
Reset the headset.
Initialize the headset.
This operation resets volume settings, etc. to the factory settings, and deletes all pairing information.

Thank you for your feedback on the Sony LinkBuds. We regret to hear you are having an issue with the unit changing the music randomly and disconnecting the phone calls by accident. Turning off the "wearing detection" and " automatic audio detection" using the Sony Headphones Connect app are some of the troubleshooting steps we recommend on fixing this issue.

The built-in sensors detect when the headset is inserted in or removed from your ears, enabling the headset to pause or resume music playback, as well as control the detection of tap operations and voice guidance. Please follow this link for more details:

We also recommended updating the firmware of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. The software update improves the general performance of the unit and includes key features, applications, and bug fixes.
