We're sorry to hear if you find the volume doesn't get very loud and the volume becomes low. Allow us to help you and turn your experience around. Make sure to update the firmware of the headphones by performing a software update (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. Doing so may resolve the issue.

If the headset is not worn properly in your ears, you may not obtain the correct sound qualities or call performance. If the part of the headset where sound is output is not oriented correctly toward the ear canal, the sound quality may sound poor or the left and right sound localization may sound misaligned.

If you feel the size of the fitting supporters does not fit your ears, change the fitting supporters to another size that fits your ears better. The size of the left and right fitting supporters may be different. Check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears. If you wear the headset for a long time, your ears may start hurting. Use the headset while taking breaks periodically.

We're sorry to hear that you find our earbuds painful to wear and won't connect with your PS5. This is definitely not the news nor the experience we want you to have.

There are different reasons why your ears may hurt when putting on or wearing headphones such as:

- Under certain environmental conditions, especially when the air is very dry, it is not uncommon to experience a slight static electricity discharge or mild shock when your body comes in contact with another object, in this case the ear buds touching your ear(s). The energy from this natural discharge is extremely small and was not generated by your product but rather a natural environmental occurrence. There is no safety issue with the product itself.
- The design may not fit your head and/or ears. They may be too big, too small, or too tight. Note: Try different designs and shapes to find one that fits comfortably.
- You may be experiencing a symptom called listener fatigue. That is where your eardrums work hard to manage the volume that flows through your ear canal. The louder the volume, the bigger the strain on your eardrums, which then causes the feeling of fatigue. Note: Try lowering the volume or take a break from wearing them for a while.
- How long have you been wearing the headphones? The longer you wear headphones, the more your ears may hurt. Note: You may need to limit your headphone usage.


To enjoy your Sony WF-L900 LinkBuds when playing with your PlayStation5, you need to connect the LinkBuds to your TV via Bluetooth. Your TV must support Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) profile for wireless speakers and headphones connection so you can get the audio from your PlayStation 5. You may check your TVs manual or reach out to your TV manufacturer support team to get more info about the TV.

Thank you for sharing your honest review of the LinkBuds. We're sorry to hear if they did not fit you well. Please allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience. The LinkBuds may fall out or feel uncomfortable during use if you don't wear the LinkBuds properly or the ear fitting supporters are not correct for your ears.

• Check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears.
• If you feel the size of the fitting supporters does not fit your ears, change the fitting supporters to another size that fits your ears better.
• After attaching the fitting supporter, check that there is no movement on the LinkBuds. (Shake your head back and forth.)
Note: If they fall off or move in your ears when you shake your head, select a different size. The best fitting supporter may be different for each ear.

We regret to hear that you are not satisfied with the Sony LinkBuds. Your feedback is extremely important to us and is very much appreciated. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Headphones Connect app).

It is recommended to wear both earbuds properly. M-sized fitting supporters come attached to the left and right units of the headset at the time of purchase. When the headset is worn and you feel the size of the fitting supporters does not fit your ears, change the fitting supporters to another size to comfortably and snugly fit your left and right ears.

If the headset is not worn properly in your ears, tap operations or Speak-to-Chat speech detection may not work correctly, or you may not obtain the correct sound qualities or call performance. If the part of the headset where sound is output is not oriented correctly toward the ear canal, the sound quality may sound poor or the left and right sound localization may sound misaligned.

Additionally, you can use the Equalizer/CLEAR BASS setting of the Sony app to fine-tune the sound quality to your needs.
