Work as intended!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These were a cool concept! But they didn't feel that comfortable in my ear and it was pretty hard to hear the music. All the things they promised with natural ambient noise and connecting to the outside world came true, but I just found myself turning up the volume to hear it better. So, these just weren't for me.

Great, but I constantly check if they’re on right
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very innovated and creative idea. Although they do a pretty good job at staying in your ear, there are still times where it doesn’t feel very secure. Not sure if I’ll be able to do a good run while wearing these, but I do enjoy using them while traveling and doing schoolwork.

Posted .Hi CheriO, We are glad to hear that the WFL900 headphones work great for you. However, we are sorry to hear that they hurt your ears due to the size of the inserts. The WFL900, also known as LinkBuds, come with medium-sized (M) ear fitting supporters by default. If these are too large, you can try smaller sizes to achieve a better fit and comfort.
To replace the ear fitting supporters, follow these steps:
Gently raise the fitting supporter and remove it from one side of the LinkBuds. Be careful not to pull the fitting supporter forcibly.
Select a different size fitting supporter and align the protruding part of the LinkBud with the cutout on the fitting supporter.
Make sure to insert the fitting supporter completely.
After attaching the fitting supporter, check that there is no movement on the LinkBuds by shaking your head back and forth. If they fall off or move in your ears, select a different size

Great for work environment
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros - For me I find these earbuds to be very light and comfortable. They don't stuff your ears but if you want you can buy separate plugs on amazon to cover the holes to enhance the sound. Mic is decent for phone calls. Cons- I have issues with only earbud working sometimes. The battery life is a bit light compared to other earbuds at this price.

Posted .Hi FrankJ,
We're happy that you like these LinkBuds which feature a comfortable open-ring design that naturally blends your online and offline worlds. Glad to know you appreciate the phone call quality that is also noteworthy. We're sorry you've been running into difficulty. We'd love to troubleshoot this and make this a better experience for you. The Sony LinkBuds support the use of one unit by itself. In this case, only the unit that has been removed from the charging case will turn on. Even if you are using only one unit of the headset, you can play music with the unit you are wearing. When Service Link is turned on with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, use the right unit of the headset. You cannot use only the left unit of the headset.
Check that the touch sensor on the earbud you want to use by itself is set up to support the use of one earbud at a time. For more details, visit this helpful link: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/wireless-headphones-bluetooth-headphones/wf-l900/articles/00229345
The LinkBuds feature a battery life is 5.5 hours and up to 17.5 hours with the charging case. However, if you set the functions from this help guide link, the available operating time of the battery becomes short: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/linkbuds/v1/en/contents/TP1000449917.html

Meh, not my favorite
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually returned these because I didn't love them. I have read glowing reviews, but I have smaller ears and these just didn't work well for my ears. I tend to gravitate towards Bose for sound and comfort, so that may have put them in a deficit from the beginning. The plastic was hard and hurt my ears, and the sound was mediocre to me. It's safe to say that it was not love for me.

Thanks for sharing your review and experience with the Sony LinkBuds. Your feedback about the design is greatly appreciated. Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority.
For optimum fit and comfort, it is recommended to wear both earbuds properly. M-sized fitting supporters come attached to the left and right units of the headset at the time of purchase. Companion to my AfterShokz
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For purposes of comparison what I am looking to upgrade is my daily listening from my AfterShokz Aeropex. I adore those for podcasts and meetings. Here is the thing, the music experience with the AfterShokz isn't that great. Enter the LinkBuds, I can still hear everything going on but now the music is killer too. I am super impressed. Don't get me wrong they aren't ear blasting loud but they are crystal clear as you would expect from Sony. But there are trade offs, they are super small so they lack all day battery life.

Both Headphones Broke Within 5 Uses.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Both headphones broke within 5 uses. Right head phone had connection problems from the 3rd use, had to take both headphones out and put them back into the case multiple times to reset them to get the right headphone to connect. On the 4th use the right headphone wouldn't connect at all no matter how many times I reset them so I just used the left head phone by itself. On the 5th use I tried both headphones again and again, only the left headphone would connect then I noticed the right headphone was cracked around the main seam when I took it out of my ear. I put both headphones back in the case to try and reset them again and when I pulled the left headphone out I could feel the headphone crack and split in half. The left side cracked even worse than the right side did and the whole earbud came apart in two separate pieces held together by a small strip of metal. Obviously neither headphone works anymore. Sony refuses to warranty the headphones because it's "damage", damage caused by their bad QC and materials. I've found at least 5 other reviews mentioning earbuds cracking in half in 15 minutes of searching online so it's not an isolated issue. These headphones and the associated software that you have to download to use them are junk.

Posted .Hi Toa95,
While we're glad that you appreciate the unique open-ring design, we regret to know that you're having issues, particularly with the fit of the unit. The LinkBuds may fall out or feel uncomfortable during use if you don't wear the LinkBuds properly or the ear fitting supporters are not correct for your ears.
Medium-sized (M) ear fitting supporters are attached to the LinkBuds at the time of the purchase. If they are too big or too small, select a different fitting supporter to help the LinkBuds fit better and feel more comfortable. We recommend starting with the larger sizes and working your way down to the smaller sizes until you find the best fit. Hurt My Ears
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought these yesterday and planned on putting them through their paces today. I had a couple zoom meetings early and then some podcast time. I wore these today for about 2 1/2-3 hours total. Honestly that's all I could do. These hurt my ears too much to continue wearing them. I tried all the included ear wings to no avail. I have fairly large ears and I have never had earbuds hurt my ears before. I can say that the left bud fit better than the right so maybe if you only need to wear one these would work for you? I own quite a few different earbuds and I find these to be the most uncomfortable to wear. I wish that wasn't the case as I really liked the idea behind these. In a working environment where I need to be able to hear my coworkers but would also like to listen to podcasts, these seemed perfect. Oh well, maybe version 2.0 will work out the fit on these.

Worth it - in specific use cases.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, the item was easy to pair with my Android phone. Fit, for my ears, is the most comfortable in-ear set of headphones I've personally ever worn. I used the "medium" ear-wing that comes on it, and that worked for me, but my wife needed the XS wings for a comfortable fit, so your mileage may vary. Long story, short - If you don't need, or don't want any level of isolation from outside noises and you don't mind your headphones lacking bass response, these are the headphones for you! Super light, decent battery, quick-charge, and (for me) a comfortable fit. I would consider these "expensive" at this price point for what you are getting, and if your priority is music first, then there are many other excellent ear-bud options in this range that will be a better choice... both in volume and bass response. However, if you want something unobtrusive for listening to audio while having no real impact on your ability to hear what's around you (without the volume dimed), with good quality mics for Zoom or Telephone calls, then these are in a class all their own. For use around the office, these have been great. I recommend these, as long as music audio quality and isolation are NOT your primary reason you're looking for in-ears. I really like mine, and they sound good... as long as I temper my expectations and embrace them for what they are.

While we're delighted you like the incredible audio quality, we regret to know that you're having constant pressure on your ears when putting on our WF-L900 LinkBuds. The LinkBuds may fall out or feel uncomfortable during use if you don't wear the LinkBuds properly or the ear fitting supporters are not correct for your ears.
• If you feel the size of the fitting supporters does not fit your ears, change the fitting supporters to another size that fits your ears better. The size of the left and right fitting supporters may be different.
• Check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears.
• If you wear the headset for a long time, your ears may start hurting. Use the headset while taking breaks periodically.
