I use this at home nearly all the time now. It's great to be able to sit in the same space as someone else and not bother them with my noise (especially when paired with my Switch). Unlike ambient noise options on other headphones, this doesn't feel like processed outside noise coming in -- everything sounds very natural. Obviously for intense music listening or sound isolation, these aren't going to be great headphones, but if you just want to listen to some tunes while still hearing the world around you, they're spectacular!

Decent Earbuds, Unique design, poor battery life

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use the Linkbuds for work( I work at a warehouse); I have the WF-1000XM4 but they block out most of the outside sounds and these Linkbuds make it safer for me to use while working(when playing music at mid levels like 40% to 60%) as it allows me to hear outside sounds(people calling me, cars passing etc) The Linkbuds have a lack of bass but they have crisp audio quality and overall stereo sound quality. Pro: Audio awareness of outside sounds allow for multitasking Wide area tap allows for control even when wearing gloves Lightweight Con: Up to or less than 5 hour battery life (depending on how many settings are on) Slip off occasionally even with a proper fit (occurs when bending down to pick up something) Putting the earbuds on can be a bit awkward at first and gets some adjusting to

Decided to try these to change it up despite the overall review rating. I was a fan of the open design since my primary use would happen at the office. So happy I gave them a shot. They're perfect! Im listening to news, podcasts, and music & can still interact with those around me no problem. Another great feature is the Google Assistant integration to read and respond to notifications at any moment, as well as say commands. This is much less robotic than Bixby. Sounds way natural! Best, near hands free experience I've had with in-ear buds. Highly recommend for professionals!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally love them they have not a lot of bass out of box the app they would like to have helps fix that but if you like bass get proper headphones not ear buds I can see how someone might not like the open back design where you can hear the outside I’m fine with it my self but I know some one might not like that there is other little things like in the app you can turn on a setting that Detects when your talking and automatically Pauses your music for you there is a lot great about it I love it I can see where some people might not like it from there person use just things to account for like with almost everything.

Have been using for 15 months and the left bud has recently started only lasting 20-30 after being charged all day and showing 90+%. At this price point I really expected atleast 2 years of use, guess I will be shoping a different brand.

This is definitely not the news we'd like to hear from you. It is difficult for Sony or any other manufacturer to quote the life expectancy for a product. Certain variables, such as the amount of use (or lack thereof) a product receives and the environmental conditions in which a product is being used, play a part in the life expectancy of a product.

It takes awhile to figure out how to find the perfect fit for your ears, but once you do, they are awesome! If you have the right fit and put them in properly, the audio is great.

They fell out of my ears during my head shake test. But they are good.

Good while they lasted

Something has happened and both headphones vibrate like something is loose or blown. I treat my electronics very carefully and I am not a loud music type of person and have mainly used these for a headset for phone calls and teams meetings. Disappointed, no easy way for any warranty repair that I have found. Looks like I need to find a replacement, would consider replacing with the same, but the price would have be be much lower. They are over priced from my experience.

Given the price point of $180, I do feel there are better options. Pros: Everything around you sounds natural. You don't need to pause or remove them. This is perfect for times you need to be in tune with your surroundings. Also, the spatial audio and other features such as pausing when talking, are really cool. They are very lightweight and the case is tiny. Really comfortable to carry around. My Cons: Not comfortable for me after about an hour; Too expensive; Connectivity issues in the right ear; sound quality isn't too clear nor loud.

I work from home and have two kids so ANC headphones aren't ideal when trying to listen to my kids. These are amazing, they allow me to have my meetings, but also be aware of the activities around my house. These have great call audio quality and are great for jogs or bike riding. Not recommended for anyone who wants to replace their previous ANC buds, but great for parents and folks who wants awareness.oy complaint, I wish these charged faster and a longer battery life.
