I also wanted to keep away from wireless buds due to the cancer concern, so I purchased these since they were less than $10. They work well! They have different sizes so the ear piece is very comfortable, and the quality is very good as well!

If you purchase a separate lightning adapter, you can use them on both the traditional plug-in as well as the newer apple phones that only have the lightning plugs.

I keep them in my pocket and plug them in the exercise machines as I need them. So far, they have held up well for frequest use. They have good sound quality even though they are quite inexpensive.
