For lower-mid-price ear buds, these do the job just fine. Glad I got the extended warranty, though -- for all the advances in technology, I don't think we've invented wires that don't eventually short out.

This is a great headset for music. It is also soundproof.

Sony always provides a good value for the price point of their ear buds. I was worried the extra weight from the "bass enhancer" part of the ear buds would be a problem when working out, but they haven't given me any issues in terms of falling out while running, lifting, etc. Good sound quality, too.

Needed new earphones as the cheap skull candy ones I had were no longer working. Went into Best Buy looking to by Beats but ended up buying these instead. Very satisfied with my purchase so far. Purchased the extended warranty as well just in case!

Certainly bass heavy. Plenty of tips included to find a comfortable and secure fit. However, mid and high notes are muddy.

I love these sony headphones, they have great base

Sound quality is just OK. Does a good job of blocking out noise, but makes it harder to hear yourself talk. So you might end up speaking too loud on phone calls. Was replacing apple ear buds. Sound quality is much better with Apple ear buds.

They work for what I need them to but you can tell the difference between these and the Samsung pair I already own that came with my phone. Something about the Dolby audio just changes things.

Very similar sound to Beats In- Ears- loud, deep bass, over the top highs. I could not find any mids nor clairity on the highs with volume over half on both iPod Classic or LG V30. I am a huge Sony fan but there were a big let down.

These are decent Earbuds, dont get me wrong, but after listening through them for over half a month, I had to return them. They hurt the inside of the ear canal, even with the snallest option they give for the rubber, and they advertise a better bass quality that is not apparent while listening.

There is a good sound with the Sony name for a reasonable priced level quality. These are flattened wired and I thought they would be rounded. I prefer the rounded wires over the flattened wires. I guess it is more of a preference.

Great, would love to have a volume up and down button.

The sound is great, but can be a little uncomfortable

For those of us who still have a wired option, these sony earbuds are comfortable, offer decent high and low response and a microphone which has a good sound quality (as reported from multiple people who have heard it on the other end). Not overpriced for the Sony quality.

I have been buying these buds for a few years, now. Not because they wear out quickly, but because when they do wear out (or I lose a pair), these are the only ones that will do. Sony rocks

they quality is good but biggest issue is there's no mute button, so literally whenever I wanna mute I have to unplug it which is horrendous design imo

Purchased these earbuds a few weeks ago and so far they have been excellent. The wiring seems thicker and more sturdy than the less expensive Sony earbuds I have used for years. They are great for use with my Roku remote.

The sound in these earbuds is amazing. Extreme bass and clear sound overall. However they are very uncomfortable at least for my ear type. Just make sure you test them, and if they fit correctly you won't find anything better for this price range.
