These headphones are poorly design , They don't stay in your ears i tried everything

Tinny sound. Extra bass makes it worse with booming sound but no clarity. Avoid this.

After days of researching for the best earbuds I landed on these and have absolutely no regrets. I wanted something that would isolates outside noise (mostly for long flights), would be comfortable, and would have great sound (including bass). I was prepared to purchase something ten times the price of these Sony's. After using these for a while now, I love them and have recommended them to everyone I know. My wife enjoyed them so much she had to immediate go purchase a pair for herself. The noise isolation is great from the silicon earbuds (three sizes are provided). I'm not sure what the dB reduction is rated at, however, I personally think it's much better than any noise cancellation earbud which only cancels out certain frequencies. One reason I wanted these was for long flights to block out the loud engine noise, while still being able to listen to music and movies without turning up the volume too high. As marketed, these buds also have amazing bass. I didn't know know it was possible to get that out of something so small. Treble and clarity is great also.

horrible quality for a something sony would make, especially for the price

We each bought a pair for our upcoming trip and love them. Great sounds and lightweight. The carry case is nice too. They're pretty comfy, although after a while my ears need a break, but they're comfy for a long time and they seem to have noise canceling in them to somde degree, they block out much of what's around you. I felt like I was in a movie theater listening to the bass on them. Very happy, and would buy again and recommend them.

Very uncomfortable and "control" was not very helpful due to the lack of volume control

Decided to purchase a pair of earbuds for the gym and running. These are a good set. The sound is great and the bass is deep. The only downside is the in line remote. It only fast forwards and pauses music. No volume control. A bit of a drag as ive had a cheaper set of sony's that had the volume control. Minus the volume control I highyly recommend these headphones. For 50 buck its a steal.

Get what you pay for. Not very good soundcor durability.

These are really good earbuds the bass hits and the clarity is pretty good too. I have the skullcandy 50/50 also but those have more bass and they're louder but Sony has come a long way.

These headphones do sound fantastic and the bass is excellent. The mic seems to work pretty well, and the earbuds provide fairly good sound isolation (as well as a white noise hiss that is always present). However, given that these headphones have a mic, you'd think they were made with talking on phone calls in mind, wouldn't you? These headphones do work for calls, but you'll probably have to ask the person on the other end to hold their phone roughly a foot away from their face so that your eardrums aren't blown out. Even at the lowest volume that my phone will allow, phone conversations are unpleasantly loud (unless I'm in a particularly noisy place). Maybe it's just my phone (Moto G5S Plus with Android 8.1.0) or something, but I don't know. Likewise, music on my phone is louder than I'd prefer, even at the minimum volume level. If you have any plans to ever use headphones on phone calls, I can't honestly recommend these headphones. If you're just trying to listen to music (especially music that's not on your phone), then go ahead and get these, they're great for that.

I have owned these headphones for a couple months now, and I am finally truly impressed with them. They have been super durable I have thrown a lot at these headphones abuse wise and they are still in the same condition I purchased them as minus a few scratches. The sound is superb, the bass is super nice, and I am amazed by how little background noise I can hear with these on.

Fell apart almost immediately. Would not recommend.

Used them four times before they started shorting out

These earbuds are actually pretty good for the money...especially if you get them on sale. They have a nice balanced sound and stay in the ear at the gym. I would buy again.

Sound went out in one of earphones 3 weeks after purcahse

I have owned many earbuds from panasonic, skullcandy, beats etc. But these... just wow. I've owned these since they came out and have been completely happy ever since. These bad boys are durable, comfortable (for me) and sound great. I've even forgotten them in some clothes and have had them washed and they STILL WORK! If you're looking for a well priced over all package, these are definitely the ones to go with. You WON'T be disappointed. Too bad you can only buy these in black and blue because I own the red ones and would deifinitely buy them again. (Yes I know they're on amazon but I like buying my things in person) There is also the previous model to these with a different look which are the mdr-xb30 but they're only sold in india apparently but seem to be very rare to obtain. Who knows, maybe these might become rare as well!
