I bought these for my teenage son who goes through earbuds like water. As a mid-level earbud, they sound amazing and at a $40 price point, I think he will be more careful about not losing or ruining them. I tired them for a while and they are comfortable and deliver deep bass for their size when worn correctly. They do have to be a little deeper in your ear to get that deep bass than I am comfortable with but he has not complained about them once since we purchased them.

I prefer large, external headphones. But these are quite good. Plenty of bass, mid, and just enough treble. Good definition and separation. Most important, they offer some protection against a wide range of potentially disruptive noise and buzz. They are of great value on a subway train. They are of great value on Apple cellular products. Especially if one listens to music on Amazon's app, which doesn't benefit from any in-OS equalization. A bit pricey; if you see them on sale, go for it. Recommended.

These headphones have better construction than others I have purchased. With the set of 3 earbud sizes included, they are simple to fit and they stay in place, although I do not use them during any non-stationary activities. I use them connected to my receiver, my phone, my tablet, and laptop. A good, solid connection to all devices, and the sound produces a much richer bass quality than all others in this price range. A very good purchase.

This style of earphone (flexible / in - ear, lightweight) is inherently fragile. No matter what brand you buy or how much you pay, they all become a casualty of carelessness or ordinary wear and tear, rendering them useless. Try these for decent sound quality at a price that won't make you cry WHEN you damage or lose them. People make a big deal over the newer "designer" brands but i.m.h.o. none of them are any better than the work of the sound experts at Sony, Bose, or BLAUPUNKT. High prices and popular celebrity names do not necessarily = high quality ANYTHING.

Bought these for a long plane ride across the ocean and to replace an aging set I had. The sound quality and Bass from these is impressive. The default set of ear Fels fit perfectly, but it came with 2 other sizes just in case. Had a nice little holder too. The cord type is flat and wide reducing the tangling aspect. I really like these. I was reluctant on the price, but it was definitely worth it.

I work out using earbuds nearly everyday, and they wear out and fall out easily, normally. These have been my go-to for a few years now. The audio range is great, and the bass is pretty optimal, in my opinion. I had some Powerboats 2 that I liked, but the sound quality and loudness is still better with these. You can't get too much better than a corded set up, so for my needs, these are close to perfect given their price.

Sony's longstanding reputation prompted me to purchase its MDRXB50 wired earbud headphones (black). It easily plugged into my phone's USB-C to 3.5 mm audio adapter, and the quality of music and phone calls is excellent. I can always use it in another phone that doesn't need a USB audio adapter, so that's a plus, as well. The price was less than some other brands, but overall, I trust Sony to make quality products.

I wear headphones while I walk my dog, mow the lawn, and pretty much whenever I am moving around. These headphones have been great so far, the ear buds stay in very well (MUCH better than any I've owned before) and when they are pulled out accidentally when the cord snags on something, I've never had to go searching for the ear bud cover. I've been through about 5 sets of headphones in the past year or two, and these are so far seem the most durable with quality sound.

Very good earphones. The bass they provide is very enjoyable. The only issue I had was they can kinda hurt your ears if you don't put the right size earbuds on. I wish they had some type of volume control like the old song earphones had back in the days.

The quality of music is outstanding when I used the Sony Earbud and it block the surrounding noise. I can just relax when I listen to my music now due to the new Sony earbud that I bought at Best Buy.

I have plenty of good-quality pre-bluetooth-everywhere legacy gear that needs wired headphones. I have been using these earbuds twice daily for about 2 months now. They are comfortable in my ears, provide decent sound isolation from outside noise (e.g. people talking, subway brakes, leaf blower), fit under ear-muff hearing protection (for really noisy backgrounds like gasoline powered lawn mowers), and provide decent low frequency response unlike so many earbuds that are anemic at the low end (when compared to playing the same material on open speakers). The microphone works quite well, in fact one team told me too well as it picked up background noises before I could mute on the conference call. The cords are rectangular, rather than round, in cross section, and seem sturdier. Only time will tell if the cord-to-plug connection holds up to ordinary use over the long term. With thin cord earbuds I've experienced open circuit failures, right where the cord enters the plug's strain relief. My last 2 thin round cord earbuds failed at about 15-18 months use - first occasionally loosing connection then getting more frequent until permanent failure. This was gradual rather than an abrupt sudden failure after an incident like a yank or drop.

This earphones provide a very good state of the art experience for all kinds of music listener, sometimes they get a little uncofrtable to use after long periods of time. Nonetheless the quality is extraodinary.

Very clear and crisp! Bass is equally clear without too much reverb. They fit nicely in the ear. Comfortable.

These headphones sound great for their price point. The only odd thing is that the mic/play pause button is on the left headphone whereas usually it's common to have that on the right side. Other than that I recommend them and they're great! They go on and off Sale frequently.

This is my second pair of these Sony earbuds. Very loud and has lots of bass for my type of music. No volume control or microphone.

The bass is very boomy. I like that everyonce in awhile but when it comes to listening to rock it drowns everything out. Well except for the super highs. I think my skull candy Titans sound way better and they were cheaper.

I got these on sale for $30. They are worth every penny! Bass is strong, but not overwhelming. Mids and highs are very clear as well. They fit snug in my ears, and I never worry about them falling out. My only issue is that the cord could be about a foot longer (I'm 6') b/c taller people might have issues reaching/putting their device in their pocket while using these. They are also a bit larger than typical earbuds, but the larger internal magnets and components are a major reason why they sound so great!

I’m no audio expert, but headphones have good base, stays in place. My only gripe— I wish it had volume control, otherwise good purchase.

Looking for a pair of reasonably priced good sounding ear buds and saw these . By no means are they Beats , but pretty close . Deep rich sound , good bass , clear highs . Good sound for a great price .
