I have been using this particular model for years and have gone through several pairs and I can honestly say that I have never encountered a single problem. Sound quality is great and the bass boost is very noticeable but never overpowering. For the price these are a great upgrade from the standard earbuds included with most smartphones.The mic quality is decent and the play pause function works well. The only negative concerning these earbuds I can find is that for extended use (in my case 6-8 hours) they can make your ears a little sore but that is a problem with nearly everyone earbud on the market.

You can always rely on Sony for good sound at a decent price if you are in the market for mid grade buds. Good sounding and decent bass.

Angled for in ear comfort, good cord length, just the right sound for me. Nice upgrade from my old Sony earbuds, had those forever, and was sad when I had to part with them.
