I bought a pair to run with and I will say flat out they are a bit heavy to run with and the cord makes a lot of noise. However, they do make a great pair of headphones for everyday listening and work well with my phone. Great balance of treble and bass and they do block out a decent amount of noise.

Was expecting more bass given the reviews. That's why I bought them so I was a little disillusioned. But they fit in my ears nicely and I like how they seal out a lot of outside noise so I can hear my music instead of my lawn mower. There are better headphones out there but, for the price, I'm happy.

Not a bad pair of earbuds. I have been a long time user of Sony and wanted a pair just to workout. These fit the bill. It's long enough that I can attach my phone to my hip and not worry about it coming off my ear. Great sound. I go to a gym and the music in there is loud and these block it all out. I'd buy again.

Excellent sounds for phone calls. I can hear and be heard very clearly, with no issues. The music music sounds are very good, with a strong bass. A music perfectionist might not satisfied. I also use them for video/movie watching on my chrome book. I find the extra bass great for movies! The ear plugs fit nice, and block out a lot of the outside sounds. The cord feels like quality, nicely thick, and hard to tangle. Above all, it's a Sony! I have never been disappointed with their products.

These headphones have excellent quality of sound and also a booming bass vibe that enhances you're listening experience. I like them so much that when somebody stole my first pair, I went right out and bought a second pair. I like them better than my beats by dre, as the quality of sound is much better.

I wanted a good pair of headphones to attend office meetings and listening to music while working, and this headphone served the purpose with excellent sound quality and the best mic anyone can ask for. After tried and using several other headphones before this I am sure to say that this one is best so far in terms of comfort, quality, and aesthetics. Sony produces the best sound quality in each of their devices and they did their best job in this product from manufacturing to packaging and even in pricing!

So this is marketed as emphasizing bass....but i was truly , pleasantly surprised by the overall sound .......across frequency ranges .....i think youll be happy with the fat bass and pro sound.....very cool....great price at best buy!

This is going to be short and sweet. The MDR-XB50AP are excellent in-ear headphones. Although a bit heavy due to the 12mm drivers and over-sized bass port, they are actually comfortable and won't slip out easily. The cord is tangle-free and sturdy with a 90 angle connector. But that sound... That's where these babies shine. The mids are very distinguishable and the highs are very clear and not piercing. But it's all about that bass... OMG they boom. Although great for EDM or pop music, they are a pleasure to listen even for classical and live music. And for the price, they're a steal. Highly recommended -go get them!

These earphones give great bass and sound good. The only thing I really don't like is that there is no volume control on the cord like I have grown accustomed to on the itunes earbuds. I still may go back and buy the white ones that apple makes.

This was the last - " i'll try anything at this point" - set of headphones. I went through JBL. , Yurbuds, and a few others before choosing Sony. I was totally surprised by the clarity and heavy bass from this pair. Not to mention the cancelling of noise in the background. These are a steal.

I bought the red ones and like them so much I bought the Black & Blue. I would have bought the White & Yellow but you can only get them from japan as far as I knew..Love the sound and fit and of course ..the Look. Good Job Sony.

Excellent headphones. Returned beats powerbeats 2 wireless for these and couldn't be happier. Sony needs to make a bluetooth version. Work great with music or even gaming. Don't let the extra bass name scare you the sound is even and has detailed highs as well as the nice bass

This is a great sounding pair of ear buds. The price was good too as I was able to use a free gift card for part of the payment. They come with several sizes of soft buds that let you adjust the fit. Good deal for the price

I have had several earbuds throughout the years and always face the issues of discomfort or sound quality! In this product you will find the comfort and the superior quality of sound that every earbud needs to present in the ever changing market of headphones and earbuds!

I purchased these on sale for 29.99. The earbuds provide great sound insulation, good bass and clear highs. The cord is flat, which helps it stay less tangled that round cords. The blue color is attractive and the build quality seems to be holding up well.

I go through headphones quickly. These have lasted the longest. I will never buy a pair that are not as durable as these. Cheap price means cheap product. These are great for the price. Blocks outside noise really well. Good sound. Wish I could adjust for more bass.

These Sony earbuds have excellent clarity and phenomenal base. I can hear all the details of my music that I never heard before with my other earbuds. Bass that comes out of them is loud and clear. With its 12mm drivers , sound is so amazing!

Great price. Super bass. Love the microphone on cord. Able to listen to music and press to talk when a call comes through. Love the snug fit in my ear.

I got these ear buds while they were on sale. They may not be the most aesthetically pleasing but they work well. Not the heaviest bass sound but the overall sound quality is great. Much more comfortable than the stock ear buds Apple gives you for sure.

Purchased these headphones for my teenage son as a gift. These headphones are awesome.They are loud and have great bass to them. I was very surprised when I heard them through his Iphone. They are worth every penny. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone.
