They block outside noise really well, so don't require a lot of volume. A little bulky on the ear, but you don't notice it after wearing for a bit. Typical for most headphones now, they have a bit more "low end enhancement" which colors the sound. I prefer a flat sound in my headphones, but it seems almost impossible to find in this price range.

Had to switch out the earpieces with some Comply pieces. Better, but still tend to dig into my ears. They sound good though. NO volume control. I don't think I would buy them again.

A few gripes for me. The ear plugs are a little too snug and these were the smaller ones I used. It also lacks volume control which is a big deal for me. Did not check that before I bought. Assumed it would have the volume control!
