Also, the wire material is the kind that maximizes knotting, if you coil them up, they will end up in terrible knots.

The cord being stiff is easy to unravel; however, they also allow sound transfer as they rub on my shirt, so I hear music and the fabric rubbing sound if I move my head at all.

The ear buds that came with my iPhone actually sound better. These are just ok. Nothing special. I use them while I mow the lawn and for that they work just fine.
