I am not an audio guy. I needed to replace some old headphones that had finally broke after over a dozen years. I sampled the head phones in the store and I liked what I heard. I do not know what "noise-cancelling" is supposed to mean. I can hear other sounds from the room so I am not isolated from ambient noise. Still, the headphones work well and for the money are decent.
