The headphones help with background noise like the washing machine and dish washer and I can still hear my kids voices. They work great.

The Sony phones are ok in physical quality. They are a bit "plasticy". with rattles and squeaks associated with cheaper headphones. Sound quality is good. What is most disappointing, though, is the noise cancelling aspect. They don't. There is very little discernable difference with the unit switched on or off, unlike premium units like Bose. I would avoid.

Bought these for the prices they did a good enough job for what you pay for them if you want highend then need to spend to get the Bose
