These work to cancel some of the noise on flights and help so you can hear the movie or music you are listening to. I'm sure some of the more expensive noise cancelling headphones work better but for the price these are good.

I use a headset for TV because of my hearing. I have had wireless and wired headsets. I had to up the volume 75 or more (of 100 max). These headsets allow me to reduce the volume to 25 (and sometimes lower). I will not judge them for high fidelity music.
