These headphones comes with the batteries which is used for blocking out noise. Without the batteries turn on you can hear noises in the back ground. But don't forget to turn the batteries off when not in use because the batteries will go dead.

I bought these for a plane ride and they worked perfectly. I couldnt hear the engines and the movies i was watching felt like they were going on around me. They do take batteries but seem to last for a long time. Also, they dont push on your ears and have a comfortable pad.

I have found these headphones to be perfect for my needs. I store them in a large cosmetic bag and remove the battery after each use. Sound is great, nice size, comfortable and they work perfectly. Very good choice...highly recommend!

Purchased them for a long flight to Asia and were very happy with their performance. While not as good as the Bose headphones they are a fraction of the cost and work quite well.

For the price - I am very happy. I can't afford top of the line and did some research on these. I can finally hear the video on the plane without having to turn it up full volume. There is still some noise but it definitely muffles it. Plus they are pretty comfortable.

Definitely a noise reduction headset as advertised. Great sound and lightweight. My only wish is that it had a volume control on the headset itself. Great quality product for the price.

For the price I had very low expectations, I was actually prepared to return these before even walking out of the store. When compared to other noise canceling headphones that averaged $200, how could these work, right? Well, I used these on a flight and they worked great. Of course, there wasn't total silence when switched on but there was a noticeable difference. Enough to allow me to arrive at my destination refreshed and not feeling drained from listening to the aircraft sounds the entire time. Worth it - try them and you'll believe you're ears.

I was not looking for bluetooth or wireless, just a good pair of noise cancelling headphones for use in the car when my 12 yr old grandson wants to watch movies on my laptop and I want to listen to audible books. These were great. Comfortable to wear and did the job perfectly.

The headphones are comfortable and block airplane noise so that you do not have to crank the volume. The only thing is the cord is kind of a pain to wrap up, my old JVC had a retractable cord

I bought this for my sons birthday and needless to say, they never come off of his ears. I listened to them myself and they have a decent sound for the price and they are very comfortable.

Wanted a decent set of headphones for my 9yr old not Bluetooth. We were going on a long flight, saw these she tried them out loved them, work great noise canceling as well.perfect and do not break the bank, love them and more importantly she does too, excellent value for money

There very good for what they are, not the best but sound good and work well my Quest 3. Smaller in nature but comfy and work as they should.

These are pretty comfortable (and I have a fairly large head), the noise cancelling feature works great (takes one AAA battery), and even cancels a lot of noise when the noise cancelling feature is turned off, which is nice.

These headphones sound great. I got them for an international flight and they worked awesome to blockout the sound. The price was great. It would be great if they came with a case, but you can buy one online relatively cheap.

For the price it was great, good quality and the fact that it folds is great. Wished it had its own bag.
