The headphones work very well and sound great. I needed headphones that have the cord attached and these worked perfectly. The price was good too. I would recommend these to anyone who wants affordable noise cancelling headphones.

Look if you got money laying around the house and want to buy Bose, yes, they are better... But for above average noise cancelling headphones, for 1/10th of the cost of the Bose, they are a great value for the occasional traveler and families traveling together. There is no doubt that the Bose's are build slightly better and that the noise cancelling feature is a little better, but I just used these on an international trip and they were just fine. I have had Bose noise cancelling headphones before and after using these, I can't see myself spending money on Bose headphones again.... Great for the family, you can afford to give everyone a set of these and they will be happy. If you are a frequent flyer (once a week or more with lots of red eyes), I would probably go for the Bose, but if you fly about 7 - 10 times a year or less, these are just fine. Even if you have to replace them after a year, you are still ahead of the price for the Bose.

The materials are good, soft in my ears, sounding is clear and great.

Hubby bought these for me for our flight to Hawaii. He has Bose which are great, but I didn't want to spend that much as I don't travel as often as he does. These were fantastic. Great noise cancelling! Used them for movies and music and the sound is terrific. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is it didn't come with a carrying case. Risky throwing them in my carry-on!

I bought two of these headphones because they were reasonably priced and didn't want to spend the money on Bose headphones. They do the trick. They are comfortable. I would say that they don't totally cancel out the noise but definitely most noise.

Great value for the money, clear and clean sound. noise canceling feature works great. Wish the cord was longer.

These Sony Noise-Canceling Headphones are a great quality and value for the price. I originally bought these to wear at work to tune out all the noise in the office. I like these headphones so well that i went back and bought a second pair so i could have one at work and one at home.

I bought these for a long airplane ride to Australia and indeed they did a fine job of cutting out the majority of the cabin noise in the aircraft. Considering the higher priced alternatives I have no problem recommending these. Incidentally, since returning from that trip I've been using these headphones in all manner of situations - I've found them particularly effective when mowing the yard! The only negative I can think of happens when it is hot outside and I've found the on-ear earcups tend to slide off rather too easily.

Im quite pleased with these headphones the sound is amazing, I had purchased another set and returned them .When I first put these ones on they were much more comfortable, and WOW I love listening to music thru them,Great Sound.

For the price this is a very good piece of merchandise. The fit is comfortable, the sound is clear throughout the spectrum, and the control is easy to operate. Recommended.

Comfortable, and block enough noise to satisfy plane trips. The battery cap pops off and that is annoying. There fine for the price and for as often as I use them.

Perhaps not the same noise-canceling effectiveness of some of the higher-end models, but good quality and strong value considering the price.

These were bought as a replacement for my other Sony headphones. I had to choose these because the other headphones I had a price increase and Best Buy replacement plan would not pay the difference. Headphones fit okay they're a bit small for my ears but comfortable. The sound on them is really good especially with a noise cancelling feature. Some sounds in some of the music I listen to are louder and I have never noticed those sounds before they're so quiet on everything else. But for what they are the headphones aren't bad I just wish I could have gotten my other ones.

They have a goid sound quality and fit good around the ear. Very well made product by Sony

Purchased to use on airplane and it worked great. The noise cancelling feature really tuned out the engine noise. I was sitting in front of the engines. I would definitely use again when flying. for the price it was an excellent purchase.

Quality of sound with the headphones is excellent. They are comfortable and easy to use. However, the headphones do not totally delete outside noise.

For the price ( on sale) I got great sound. I bend back the top arch to loosen up the pressure in my ears. Now, it fits perfect.

Great sound and light weight. Over the ear configuration helps block external noise.

I love love LOVE these headphones. They are perfect earmuff-style headphones for jogging. In my experience, many earmuff-style headphones get ruined when you jog with them because of sweat but these ones last for long periods of time. The quality of sound is very good as well.
