Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones

The original pair were terrific. I was 35,000 feet over the Atlantic when I found that these headphones were useless. Either they don’t work on aircraft background noise, or they don’t work at all. When in a quiet setting they are okay, nothing special

I'm a 5'4 girl with modest to average size ears, I suppose, so maybe this is a product design flaw. They were on sale when I purchased them. I try not to wear these for more than a hour at a time.
