Bought two pair of these headphones for a recent 15hr flight. They were comfortable and did a great job of reducing the airplane noises.

I am quite happy with these overall. They are comfortable and the sound quality is good. I mostly listen to Great Courses lectures so I can't speak to what a serious music buff might be looking for. I do get a fair amount of environmental background noise when loud TVs are playing but I don't that anything this side of $400 would fully eliminate that.

Great for tuning out others! Would recommend them for hard of hearing, also.

These headphones are good. My house can be noisy, and these headphones really help block out the noise so I can watch a movie, or listen to a book or music on my phone, tablet or laptop. They tend to cause some pain when I wear my eyeglasses, as they squeeze my ears and the eyeglass temples, so I try not to combine them too often.

Good sound, and the noise cancellation works great, proving you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to get a decent pair of noise cancelling headphones. Although the cover on the battery side fell off too easy, and I lost it on the plane. Otherwise I would have given them a 5 stars because of the price. (But don't expect hundred dollar sounds from a forty dollar item.)

Comfortable to wear. Did a very nice job of cancelling airplane noise and provide great sound.

Comfortable to wear for extended period of time and sleeping. Really did nicely cutting out noise on the plane.slim so fits easily in a carry on handbag.

When flying I wanted a cheaper but durable item to wear other than ear buds that would help eliminate the outside noises and give a clear sound while listening to music or watching movies Sony noise canceler headset works as advertised for the price affordable if lost or destroyed.

I had used these headphones on a long 8 hr flight and the noise canceling feature was great I wore the headphones the whole trip and they felt just fine.

Bought them to use on a 3 plus hour flight to watch a movie. Sound was good, but still got a lot of airplane noise. Have not tried them since, but they did an OK job, but really not a big deal. This was about a month ago and to be quite frank, I don't remember a whole lot about the nuances of the sound, and like I said not a big deal.

I purchased these headphones to use with the ANTI-SKIP CD PLAYER (IPCD603B), which I purchased at the same time. The combination produces outstanding audio. And only I can hear the sound so anyone nearby will not be disturbed.

had a Bose noise canceling, but was dropped several times and now does not work. Sony is a great brand so I tried it and the sound/no sound is great. I have a laser with noisy fans and a CNC machine using a router, on for long periods. The Noise Canceling feature works great. I am able to work in a noisy environment. Great headphones! They don't pinch your ears during usage. Sound comes through very clear. Good value for reasonable cost.

Great value for a baseline wired noise cancelling headphone. Sound quality is rich, crisp and clear with just enough bass. I prefer using the sony headphones over my AirPod Pros on flights as they block out more outside noise and are a bit louder. They are definitely not as compact as the AirPods but they do fold up to a descent size to pack them.
