I originally bought these as a gift for my wife but I've now inherited them and I'm generally pretty pleased. The battery door seems like it could use a little more security (I've had it fall off a few times) but the sound quality is excellent and the noise-cancelling function is pretty solid. Especially for the money, these are great.

Purchased these to use at work since I work in a cube farm. Quality was surprising for the price tag and lasted about as long as I expected. Was happy to get two years out of them for the price point. They still work, but the material is starting to show it's age.

If you're looking for an inexpensive noise reducing (note, I did not say cancelling) headset for use on an airplane, the Sony is a really solid buy. If you are looking for a headset that truly cancels all noise, you are going to be disappointed with this purchase

Best under $50, headphones I've ever used. Great with both music and movies and the noise canceling is most effective with constant droning type noises like HVAC or airplane cabin sounds. Earpads are quite comfortable for long use like 2+ hour movies.

These headphones are great for long plane rides. They are very comfortable and the noise-canceling works well.

I use these headphones when I am cutting grass. They do a good job of cancelling the engine noise. I have also been able to notice a problem with the lawn mower wearing these headphones. They are a good price for how I use them.

Overall these sound wonderful and feel wonderful. The noise cancel option is a great addition though doesn't cancel sound completely. Without the noise cancel on this is still a solid buy with great sound. Also included is a plug in for plane travel.

They are a good and light. The sound is good as well.

I like the headphone with valued price. The sound quality is great when the noise cancellation is on. The volumne is higher when the switch is on and bass, mid and high are pretty clear. Of course, it is no better than the Bose Q25. The arm is plastic and no carrying case.

My daughter is rough on headphones but these have quickly become her "go-to" pair. They sound great and take a beating.
