For the price, this headset does a fair job of noise canceling. A set that covers the ear totally would probably give a better result. I use the during air travel.

I purchased for my daughter for the airplane . The noise control is good , she is 13 and said they were a little tight on her ears . I wanted to have it for multi purpose such as I phone but it doesn’t have the same input to stick in .

These are sufficient for what I need right now. I got them on sale, so they were moderately priced. I don't really understand the noise-cancelling aspect of them, but the sound is pretty good. They, like all other headphones this size, are a little clunky, so I'd love to find EarPods that are comfortable enough to wear for online, when I am interacting with others.

I use headphones for work. They have good sound but not real comfortable if you have to wear them for a long period of time

I haven't used them on an airplane yet so not sure about noise cancelling feauture. They are not as comfortable on ears as I had hoped. Sound quality is good.

Purchased for my movie loving spouse. Rave reviews from both parties. He can listen to his movies as loud as he wants and I'm not bothered by the volume.

I use these headphones when I'm at the gym so I don't have to hear whatever music they are playing through the speakers and they work great! I'm also a truck driver and I use them when I'm pulled over to go to sleep.

Too much ambient sound leaks through. However music/voice are above average in a set that only costs 50 bucks.++ but pretty decent price

Wife & daughter went to Lillehammer, Norway, (Kid does Skeleton for Youth Olympics) and used these to "Relax" while on plane. They said it was highly useful on way back.

Sony makes great headphones and I ensure you for the low price these are worth every penny. Great for anyone and the noise canceling feature is an added bonus.

If you want quality wired headphones, these are great. You just need an adapter for Apple phones with lightning cable jacks. The sound quality is very good at this price point.
