If you consider buying a new SONY model, you may want to check the WH1000XM3 which has super soft, pressure-relieving earpads in foamed urethane evenly distribute pressure and increase ear pad contact for a stable fit. They are nice looking and perfect to use with an Ipod or other device. The sound is clear.
