The headphones are light and fold up nicely. They are wired which is a drag when using a newer iPhone but the headphones blocked out numerous crying babies on a 14 hours trans-pacific flight.

Good sound quality for the price. Headphones adjust well to fit size of head. Headphone jack seems to slip out rather easily with movement (as I often walk with them on) but the pros outweigh the cons.

We bought these for our kiddo for computers at school! I love that the noise canceling is via battery as she leaves them at school and wouldn’t be able to charge them! Overall great headphones for the price. The noise canceling isn’t amazing but she says it still helps her when the other kids are being loud.

these are by far the best sounding headphones i've tried so far, other than the $300 and above price range. they fit very nicely, pretty solid build as i am constantly tossing these around. i've turned friends on to these and they all love them.

These are comfortable, cancel airplane engine noise well, and have good sound quality. They're just what I wanted.

It didn't cut out nearly enough noise (loud music at the gym), which was my reason for buying. I returned it. Otherwise it seemed ok. It was reasonably comfortable and only needed a AAA battery for the noise-cancellation function, but I still had to turn up the volume too high on my podcasts to hear them over the loud music. I'm back to using a true sound-blocking headset (like you might use when running heavy machinery). I put in my earbuds and then the sound-blocking headset goes over them. Not as comfortable but better for my hearing.

its light, good design and real noise cancelling feature is true. I used it for my long flight and it really help me stay entertained the whole time and not hear the background noise.

I have tried quite a few affordable headphones sets that were either uncomfortable or did not have good sound quality. It was hard to get one or the other. But this Sony, especially considering the price point, is exceptional. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a quality headset at a low price.

Bought specifically for airline travel. Active noise cancellation is pretty good but band across the top of head is hard and I had to put padding on it. The earphones get uncomfortable after many hours of use (what doesn't after 6 hours in a plane,) so I had to keep shifting them around a little, but overall satisfactory performance and the price is definitely right. I do like the way they fold flat for your carry-on. Bring a spare battery in case you leave it turned on.

Comfortable on the ears, but can be rough across the head…have to tilt back on my giant noggin. Sound is decent at this price. The battery boost works quite well but absolutely gobbles batteries. Made the mistake of leaving it on a couple times…kills it very fast.

These sonys are terrific. Great sound. I never heard the screaming kids on the flight to Florida. They are lightweight, which is a good thing since I suffer from TMJ and there is no way I could wear earbuds comfortably. And the sound! Loud enough to satisfy this old rock n roller. And for less than $50 bucks !!

These headsets are great value. For the casual traveler this is a great alternative to the $300 headsets out there. Used these on the plane and was able to hear the movie on my tablet perfectly clear.

I am using these in the sound booth at my church. The noise cancelling feature is ok. It’s more of a white noise generator than noise canceling. Great sound and they are comfortable.

Has a battery, not sure what it's for. Battery doesn't last long. If you wear it for a couple of hours, hurts the ears. Sound not too bad. Does block out other noises.

I bought these for one very long overseas flight (and return). These did a good job on noise cancellation, great sound quality on both in-flight systems and personal devices, and very comfortable.

These headphones are not the best on the market. But, they fulfill the promise of adequate noise-cancellation for a reasonable price. They're also light and comfortable for the money.

I bought these for a plane ride and they worked perfectly. I couldnt hear the engines and the movies i was watching felt like they were going on around me. They do take batteries but seem to last for a long time. Also, they dont push on your ears and have a comfortable pad.

These headphones comes with the batteries which is used for blocking out noise. Without the batteries turn on you can hear noises in the back ground. But don't forget to turn the batteries off when not in use because the batteries will go dead.
