Most I looked at were far too expensive, so I jumped at the moderate price on these. Unfortunately, in use, they have not proven to be very effective. They just don't fit comfortably and the band across the head only adjusts in one direction, so it never feels even. Once the earpieces are on, they don't stay in place and the whole headset tilts forward. The need to constantly readjust them makes them impractical in actual use. And as they don't stay in place, it makes the question of noise-cancellation moot.
