It was like having a head cold and not hearing right except that's the way they sound. I didn't even bother with the batteries to have the noise cancelation. Just the normal sound quality was wanting. My hubby liked them well enough, so I gave them to him and I ordered Senheiser headphones somewhere else. I wouldn't waste the $. Put your money towards Beats or something else, even a better pair of Sony headphones, just not these.
