Sound quality good, noise cancelling not

Too bulky to not be have any effect on surrounding sounds. If you are looking for something to reduce sound these are not it. So I tried to keep them for just a normal headphone but if you don't s flip the "noise canceling" switch all you get is static. Spend the money and get something more effective. Not recommended

These do not serve any purpose to me without a functioning microphone.

I put the AAA batteries in, turned the noise cancelling switch to ON and it only got a little louder.... The engines were just as loud with the switch off. You will still hear people even when you have a higher quality pair due to the way noise cancelling works. I was focusing on the engine noise to get a little quieter but there was no change what-so-ever. When you have your feet on the ground they're okay headphones. Not the best but they're okay. My recommendation is if you're looking to fly, look into the next model up. If its a gift or you have kids this is better suited towards them.

not for total noise cancelling
