I like that it's smaller than the over the ear style. As for noise canceling, I could barely tell the difference. I wouldn't recommend this product if your primary reason for purchasing is for the noise canceling feature.

As someone who has owned Bose noise-canceling headphones for many years, I wanted to get my 11 year old daughter some noise-cancelling headphones for her trip across the country. I didn't want to spend Bose-like money as she takes care of things about as well as most 11 year olds. I figured these were Sony, so although my expectations weren't that great due to the low price point, I figured they wouldn't be too horrible. Well, I was wrong. These are obviously re-labled junk headphones that Sony puts their name on in order to have an entry-level product. Complete garbage. I would not be exaggerating to say they're of similar quality to the "free" earbuds some of the airlines give you. They really are that bad. Garbage plastic, garbage wiring, terrible sound, just junk all around. I'm actually surprised Best Buy would stock these in their store. I expect a certain level of quality when I think of Best Buy.

They are not very comfortable, need batteries for the noise cancelling, and are made of plastic. Can break very easily but, are good for the right person. Got them for my grandpa who does not care for crazy technological features and he loves them.
