It might dull it a little, but you can still heat a lot of peoples conversations and the sounds surrounding you. I would like to replace these with something that can truly cancel the sound.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these for my son, who used these at home for listening to music, youtube, etc...The foam ear cups began to shed after approximately 8 months, ultimately after a year one of the ear pieces stopped working altogether. I would only recommend these if you didn't mind not have a use after more than a year, of one or both sides.
