Perhaps I had the wrong concept of noise-cancelling. I thought it meant I would not hear the noise going on outside the headphones. They proved no better at keeping me from hearing outside noise than my old ones. I have returned this item to the store.

The angled input jack is incredibly weak and is already shorted. I’ve had headphones that come with your phone last 30x longer. Wish I didn’t waste $40 as the battery amplified sound is great.

I have two other pairs by different manufacturers that actually work - other more expensive brands. You can almost hear a difference....but that may even be wishful thinking. Pay a bit more and get a pair that does some actual noise canceling.
