My Toshiba port is 3.5mm, but I've been unable to find the flippin specs for the plug size on the Sony product and neither have the tech folks from Best Buy. If they're 1/4" we the consumers need to know that info.

The battery powered cancelation feature is just super soft white feedback noise or just makes music louder. The ear pieces that do offer some cancelation are too small even for a child and put pressure on your ears. Seriously start to hurt after half an hour.
