When switch is on, sound is very good. They are not the most comfortable, but I study for roughly 8-10 hours a day with these on and they don't drive me too crazy. They take most of the noise out if you are listening to something, even if it is just white noise. However, with the noise cancelling switch on, but no music playing, all outside sounds are still very audible. For the price, they're really not bad at all.

Inexpensive noise canceling headphones. Great for the price. Would be better if they came with some sort of carrying case

They're definitely great for the price, been using it to play on my ps4 and ps5 and it's working decently despite it not being gaming headphones. They aren't as noise canceling as I was hoping though, they definitely muffle sound but not as much as I was hoping.

...the movie I was watching on my ipad. These totally blocked out the 'white' noise of the plane, and I didn't feel like I needed to blast the volume. Great price, very comfortable, would totally recommend.

Very good sound, be sure to turn on the noise cancellation. I use on-ear headphones to avoid the irritation I get from putting things into my ear. With audio, it's diminishing returns, of course. The more you spend, the less you get for the additional expense. This will get you 85% of the way there. You would need to spend hundreds more to chase that 15%. Up to you (and your budget).

The Sony headphones are one of the best sounding headphones i have ever used. They are also very comfortable to wear and having the noise cancelling feature in a wired headphone is very convenient.

I don't travel much but recently was going on a trip and was looking for an inexpensive pair of noise cancelling headphones. These worked great for the money. Good value.

Awesome headphones! Volume is definitely ample. Very comfortable and love the noise cancellation feature. Works great with my laptop, Nintendo switch and cell. Would definitely recommend.

Very good for the sale price at the time of purchase. Hardwired for external noise from family. Batteries give boost and good noise cancelation. Purchase extended cord because I sit 10ft from the amplifier.

Good and comfortable. Use them on a plane where the drone of the engine is almost removed so you can enjoy your music/movies.

I buy these headphone for my Down Syndrome son. These headphones are to my sons liking. Keep out unwanted noises, and are comfortable to him. This is his fourth pair.

These headphones were exactly what I as looking for. They fit my head just right, and they weren't overly expensive.

I'm content with this item and think it's fine for the small amount I paid for it -- compared to the much more expensive ones with "noise canceling" capabilities. I do notice about a 30% reduction in noise. Also it fits my head well. Some of the others were too big. For an "inexpensive" set of noise cancelling headphones, this is sufficient.

Cost effective option for noise canceling headphones. Especially useful on airplanes for use with the in-seat entertainment system.
