The sound is very good, however I am not sure about noise cancelling capabilites. Will try on an airplane soon.

I don’t normally listen to music with headphones, but needed some for an upcoming plane flight. I found these at BB and the price was right, so gave them a try. What a great find! The noise canceling feature worked well, maybe 80 to 90% as well as the much more expensive Bose models. And all for about $50. The big difference though is in the cheaper plastic construction. We’ll see just how long they last.

I bought these right before a long flight to Japan and they worked great. It is amazing the difference once you turn them on. Backgound plane noises were significantly reduced. I was able to watch movies and hear the quiet conversations and whispers in scenes that normal headphones don't handle well. It may not be Bose quality, but these are way less expensive and do a great job. This would not work for yardwork or outdoors because there are microphones that pick up the ambient noise to know what to eliminate and wind whistling in those microphones is annoying. These are for indoor use and do a great job and are a great value.

Excellent product at a good price. Wore them on an airplane and barely could hear the ambient noise.

had a Bose noise canceling, but was dropped several times and now does not work. Sony is a great brand so I tried it and the sound/no sound is great. I have a laser with noisy fans and a CNC machine using a router, on for long periods. The Noise Canceling feature works great. I am able to work in a noisy environment. Thank you for your products and services.

Comfortable to wear for extended period of time and sleeping. Really did nicely cutting out noise on the plane.slim so fits easily in a carry on handbag.

When flying I wanted a cheaper but durable item to wear other than ear buds that would help eliminate the outside noises and give a clear sound while listening to music or watching movies Sony noise canceler headset works as advertised for the price affordable if lost or destroyed.

Great value for a baseline wired noise cancelling headphone. Sound quality is rich, crisp and clear with just enough bass. I prefer using the sony headphones over my AirPod Pros on flights as they block out more outside noise and are a bit louder. They are definitely not as compact as the AirPods but they do fold up to a descent size to pack them.

I had used these headphones on a long 8 hr flight and the noise canceling feature was great I wore the headphones the whole trip and they felt just fine.
