These are great on a plane. They are especially great when taking an overnight flight. You can sleep without the noises around you keeping you up.

Great sound, light weight, and good quality for the low price.

I pulled these out of the kiosk at the airport -- never thought I'd use one of those -- and they worked like a charm for my trip. Both my two year old son and I enjoyed them during a six-hour flight. No complaints, and the way they fold is a bonus when trying to pack in small spaces

Great noise-canceling headphones that are portable and durable.

I've used these headphones on many international flights since I purchased them. Despite some reviews stating they were uncomfortable, I strongly disagree! They do a decent job of blocking unwanted noise, and have above average sound quality. For the price, you can't beat 'em!

Overall I’m pleased. Great value; noise canceling not on par with higher in models, but sufficient for airplanes it reduces noise by 50-75%. Typical Sony headphone balanced sound- which is a good thing- and they broke in quite nicely after 5 or so hours of listening.

I have always appreciated the sound quality of Sony products. I have been a Sony enthusiast since the 60's! I have been using these headphones for listening to mp3's, with a portable Sony radio and my Yamaha keyboard. The sound for all of these devices is clear and accurate. You won't go wrong with these headphones for most situations and I think you'll be satisfied with the sound quality!

I like this headset it has very good sound reproduction and except for an occasional clicking sound works very well. It is comfortable for a on ear headset. I think it is good value for money. Very happy with it.

We bought this because my boyfriend and I had a 20 hour flight. Long flights are not fun. I couldn't sleep, so I decided to use it. It helped me to not hear the annoying and scary sounds of the plane and people, especially when there is a kid behind you. I used it to watch movies and even helped me to fall asleep! It's perfect for flights!

I love these SONY headphones. I recently started flying a lot for work and I could not deal with the noise without these headphones. The noise cancelling feature makes a big difference. When not in use, they fold up for easy storage in your carry on or suitcase. Perfect for my use and a great value for the price. AND, they sound great. they mike life in the air or on the ground so much better!
