The bass sound out of these headphones is very good. Although it may be a little awkward to use these with an Android phone, the headphones a very good to use with a laptop.

I have owned Sony noise cancelling headphones since they first hit the market. My previous pair traveled the world with me for years. My cat liked them also and managed to chew through the cable one day while I was at work. Bought the current model and could not be impressed with the quality of the sound and the noise cancelling. Great product at a great price.

These are good sounding headphones and the noise-cancellation switch does make for clearer listening, but external sounds, even minor, still make it through loud and clear. More like noise-slightly-muffling. They're decent for some cheapies.

Very comfortable to wear. Sound is good. Noise reduction in not very good. But for the price a good set of headphones if you don’t want really good noise reduction

purchased two for my young kids for airline travel. They work tremendously well for the price point. Bose noise cancelling they are not but you shouldn't spend anything more if you just need these for a few flights or road trips.

Bought 2 of these for overseas travel. They did a great job of eliminating most of the plane and passenger noise and are great for movies and music. Also helped to sleep. Battery lasted for several 8 hour flight segments and case holds a spare. Wasn't sure if I could use wireless on plane so got the wired model. Would purchase again.

Been using these headphones too for awhile. I accidentally broke the last pair I had, but these are amazing. It has a switch that you can turn on that increases the bass and the clarity is great. My only minor complaint is wearing them for awhile, they tend to hurt your ears a bit.

These are great at noise canceling and are very comfortable.

I absolutely love these headphones! I work at ho.e and don't have a lot of noise. At work, we have multiple groups on the phone on speaker at the same time. I can't hear them!

Bought these earphones for my wife, and she likes them a lot. She finds them much superior to the old earphones she was using for her e-books and podcasts. Good for the money.

Bought these for my wife for use with her iPad. She wears hearing aids. The over-the-ear design plus noise cancellation has worked out well for her listening pleasure. Purposely selected the wired design for its' simplicity, batteries not required and the lower cost. Fold-up design makes it easy to carry them in her tote bag.

for the money these are great headphone. only wish the cord was a bit longer.

These Sony Noise Canceling Headphones are great. My husband has a noise sensitivity and after looking for headphones decided to buy these. He wears them when sitting outside listening to music or watching videos. Great value for a great price.

Got these for editing videos, wanted something lite with good sound and noise cancellation and these are perfect for what I needed!!!

I have an old headset I used at work and now at home. I worked in a very noisy environment and regular ear buds and headsets didn't block out the noise, but these were outstanding and allowed me to listen to my music. I bought these for when I go to the gym and I can connect to the TV, which make exercise less boring. Much less expensive than others I've seen.

This headphone is almost 10 times cheaper than a good high-end models like Bose ones. It still manages to cancel out humming noises coming from a ceiling fan or high bass audio to some extent, I would say 30 or 40%. Its good for indoor listening where you don't have lot of complex mix of noises. Its barely effective in running car or a plane where you have different levels of noises coming from multiple sources. So the point is..if you really need a truly noise cancelling headphone, be ready to spend around $300, this is not the right product otherwise this headphone is a pretty good deal. Very nice built quality, folds up, looks good and good sound quality.
