Worth the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We wanted noise-cancelling earbuds for traveling on a plane, but Bose are hundreds of dollars and this product, obviously not earbuds, was less than $50. We trust Sony, and they are good enough for our one trip this year.

Sound (from headphones) can be heard from outside, which is not ideal. But good for the price.

Battery Death Is Annoying

It has an on/off switch to activate noise canceling. It tends to trigger the on switch inside a busy carry on bag. Halfway through the continent, the battery died. It still functioned as a headphone but no noise canceling booster. It worked fairly well while it had juice but it's far from what anyone would consider "noise canceling". This works in a pinch but I'm actually going back to throw down for a Bose. You get what you pay for.

The are easy to pack up and fit his head. I can’t attest to sound quality as I have never used them. But for our criteria they were perfect.
