I bought for my flight to Europe they worked great

Although it might not have the same noise canceling quality than higher priced models, the price was a steal. My 18 year old kid has not complained about it, in fact, he asked for another Sony product for music editing.

These headphones have 95% reduction. I have had headphones with 85, 87 percent reduction so when I wasn't listening to music or movies the engine noise was still bad when sleeping or trying to sleep on long flights

The wire is too short to use while laying in bed. The noise canceling function is nonexistent. Or maybe it emits a noise to mask outside noise? Either way it is a waste of batteries. Because the wire is short you can’t roll over with them on without choking yourself. Got them from a friend as a gift. I would never buy them again.
