I got these so my son could take a break from earbuds. They seem to work very well.

Really happy with these headphones although they don’t eliminate fully background noises!

I purchased these for my husband to hook into the roku remote so he doesn't keep me up at night.

It does not really reduce the noise in an airplane, I could hear what's going on around me!

I bought this for using on a plane. But still too much noise. Ear pads were comfortable

Noise canceling if you press the speakers against your ears. They should completely cover your ears to be called noise canceling

Okay for the price. Not quite noise cancelling but helps make my DVD player more audible.

I use them for movie listening, primarily for the outstanding bass response, which can be altered. A really nice advantage if needed.
