The sound quality is good. When you turn on the noise cancellation is does remove some of the background noise. I am not sure if it removes all noise but enough that I didn't get distracted from watching my movie on the airplane. It does hurt your ears/side of head after wearing for several hours. I just removed it for a little while, and then I put it back on. So much better than earbuds.

The sound is fine and I've used it on a flight, which was my motivation for getting them in the first place. After trying on too many flights to use my Apple supplied earbuds and not being able to watch a movie without subtitles, I wanted to get headphones with noise reduction. I've checked out the high end Bose and jbl, but I didn't want to spend so much. These have served my needs so far in the couple of months that I've owned them.

Nice Headphone Product. I used it with My iPhone and My Laptop It sounds Great . It also has a Plug for using them when You are flying, I haven't tried that though. If wired headphones are Your choice then I recommend this Model.

These headphones are good. My house can be noisy, and these headphones really help block out the noise so I can watch a movie, or listen to a book or music on my phone, tablet or laptop. They tend to cause some pain when I wear my eyeglasses, as they squeeze my ears and the eyeglass temples, so I try not to combine them too often.

Connects to device with a decent quality. Make sure to connect it completely and jiggle it if there’s feedback or something.

The noise canceling seems to work pretty well on my flight, and they are comfortable to wear.

I work in a loud area, and these headphones do a great job of blocking external noise so I can hear my podcast. This is the second pair I've owned and are an excellent value.

I am quite happy with these overall. They are comfortable and the sound quality is good. I mostly listen to Great Courses lectures so I can't speak to what a serious music buff might be looking for. I do get a fair amount of environmental background noise when loud TVs are playing but I don't that anything this side of $400 would fully eliminate that.

Perfect for my son, he uses them at school in the computer lab. They are comfortable but very affordable!

Bought two pair of these headphones for a recent 15hr flight. They were comfortable and did a great job of reducing the airplane noises.

Save yourself 150 bucks by buying these head phones. Sounds good comfortable and much cheaper then Bose .

I used them on a flight, and they did block out probably 70% of the noise. I couldn't hear the babies on the plane crying anymore, so that was good. I could still hear muffled general noises though, but not bad. The quality of sound was good. Much better than ear buds, not as good as high-end products. For the price, they met my expectations and I'll use them often. They fold flat but are still a bit bulky, something to keep in mind.

Good sound, and the noise cancellation works great, proving you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to get a decent pair of noise cancelling headphones. Although the cover on the battery side fell off too easy, and I lost it on the plane. Otherwise I would have given them a 5 stars because of the price. (But don't expect hundred dollar sounds from a forty dollar item.)

Was looking for a simple pair of noise canceling headphones and these do the trick for a good price.

Have had these headphones for awhile now; great sound, comfortable on the ears.

I don’t normally listen to music with headphones, but needed some for an upcoming plane flight. I found these at BB and the price was right, so gave them a try. What a great find! The noise canceling feature worked well, maybe 80 to 90% as well as the much more expensive Bose models. And all for about $50. The big difference though is in the cheaper plastic construction. We’ll see just how long they last.

I bought these right before a long flight to Japan and they worked great. It is amazing the difference once you turn them on. Backgound plane noises were significantly reduced. I was able to watch movies and hear the quiet conversations and whispers in scenes that normal headphones don't handle well. It may not be Bose quality, but these are way less expensive and do a great job. This would not work for yardwork or outdoors because there are microphones that pick up the ambient noise to know what to eliminate and wind whistling in those microphones is annoying. These are for indoor use and do a great job and are a great value.

Worked great used them on the plane to & from Hawaii. Very good sound quality. Inexpensive headphones. Not quite as comfortable as more expensive models but much better than the ones they give you on the planes.
