The construction is hard plastic with a tight fit. After wearing the headphones for 15 or so minutes, regular shifting is necessary to relieve the pressure on the ears. The sound is good and noise canceling is adequate. The price is excellent

They do pretty well on the airplane. I used it on my Kindle. I wish they had a knob to make it a little louder. My Kindle lets me turn up the volume only so much. Might not be as good for hard of hearing.

My son bought these headphones for a long car ride. He loves them! The noise cancelling aspect is the best.

I used this product one time, because I cannot hear anything going on around me on the outside of the headphones, which is good, except I have a teeanger son and live in an aparement. It also hurts my ears when the sound is not adjusted & it gets too loud to listen to.

I gave it 5 stars because for the price it was the closest I could get to cancelling out a noisy neighbor plus I used earplugs.

Bought these to use with our sound system while playing drums. Cancels outside noise very well and the sound quality is good also. I would recommend.

Sony-Noise Canceling Wired On-Ear Headphones-Black are good.

Bought these for my boyfriend to take to work. Needed something with no Bluetooth or audio functions. Just standard headphones. Sony has always been a go to so I picked these out quickly. They are really good with blocking out sound but the only off side is the people around you can hear what you are listing to pretty well, but if that doesn't matter then these are perfect!

My boyfriends birthday is right after Christmas and he hinted around about wanting these ear phones. It was an excellent choice and he loves them!
